I was facing a charge of failing to provide at the roadside and a subsequent drink driving charge with a reading of 34. I was looking at a ban of up to 18 months, these guys are brilliant. I ended up with a ban of 12 months reduced to 9 months with access to the drink driving course and the failure to provide charge was dropped completely. As somebody who has never been in trouble with the law before I was shocked at how the police behaved throughout, embellishing their statements to make it look worse than it was, leaving me in a cell overnight etc. Really grateful I had these guys on my side throughout the process. Thanks so much for achieving this outcome, I will be back driving again before Christmas.

I got charged a drink driving offence which I couldn't possibly have done but witnesses and the situation put me in a predicament that I would have more than likely lost my licence.
However I phoned rte office after my arrest and the staff in the office where brilliant they listened and understood while being impartial and got Richard to phone me back within ten minutes.
I left it a week before hiring Richard as I felt I had circumstances and facts in my favour and was worried about cost.
All I can say after getting my drink driving charge dropped and numerous other charges dropped or lesser outcome the cost of not having rte by your side will be far greater.
The knowledge of the law is outstanding right up to the end of the trial Richard actually had the procerator fiscal asking questions and picking his brains on his skills and experience and the manner in which you are coached through court is superb and so much so at no time can I say I ever felt nervous of losing or the case may be slipping away from us.
With the manner that Richard Freeman conducts himself in the courtroom is also a joy to witness it's definitely a man at the top of his profession.

I had a realativley minor accident. Naivley told the police far too much and found myself with a charge for dangerous driving.
I checked the internet for a solicitor and chose RTE because the reviews looked good. Glad I did. I am a disabled driver and really rely on my car to get around. From the very first phone call with Richard Freeman I felt I might have chance of keeping my licence. He understood my predicament and sympathised with my naivety and said he would do all he could to help me. It seemed to me I had painted myself into a corner by admitting too much info to the police and we did have a few negative moments along the way but Richard was always there to help and with his knowledge of the law advised​ what to put into my case and what to leave out. I could phone, email or text him any time, In fact he answered many of my queries by telephoning me evenings and weekends.
He managed to get the fiscal to reduced my charge to careless driving. Helped me to use the right approach with my GP to get a favourable medical report.

At the trial I got 5 penalty points and a modest fine, no disqualification. I couldn't have been more relieved and thankful to keep my licence.

I had a complicated case which seemed like a no win case as advised by a previous lawyer but Richard explained the situation and convinced me we had all the facts to win. His team was mazing during the process as they also were extremely calm and honest during every phone call I made to the office. During the case Richard was precise and brutal disputing every effort made by the Procter Fiscal and convinced the judge to drop the case with the verdict of not guilty.

Richard spoke with me in length about my case initially and he felt that this was a case which could be defended with good arguments given my predicament.

After my case getting adjourned twice (and me having to be at the court each time) my case was deserted due to one of the prosecution’s witnesses not able to attend as their back was “so sore” but didn’t realise this until 9:30am on the day of the third trial.

Richard was not the lawyer defending me on the three occasions I had to go to court, however the gentlemen that did always got in touch the day before to go over the case and go over how the day would go. At the end of the call they would suggest a time to meet up prior to the case in the morning.

Mr Mackay and Mr Freeman were both extremely professional and realistic from day one in their approach to my case. Their knowledge of the law is exceptional and their trial methods are brilliant. Worth every penny as they managed to save my license and take advantage of the police being and the fiscal being unprepared and unprofessional. I observed during my trial that Mr Mackay's extensive experience of previously being a procurator fiscal certainly spooked the court and the police which was entertaining to say the least. I am delighted with the outcome of 5 points and a reasonable fine. Due to the nature of the case, I was facing a possible ban. Hopefully I won’t find myself in this situation again however if I do, I know these two gentlemen will be my first point of contact.

A great result, The lawyer looked at the case from a different angle and got the result.

What can I say the whole team at Road Traffic Expert were professional , friendly , surportive and went out their way to walk us through what was a completely incorrect allegation of the road traffic act by the police. Richard and his team were in court 3 times arguing the case and with their technical knowledge of the law and ability to prove inaccuracies of the prosecution the case was eventually thrown out.
If it was possible to give 6 stars and a bonus ball to these guys they would get it.

Great result for me which is what matters but I initially found the clerical problems worrying. Wrong address, issues with invoicing and failed to call to discuss the case on the date and time agreed.
