Robinhood will close your "IN THE MONEY" position automaticlly for reasons unknown. They closed my highly up "In The Money" Options Position automatically without my consent. Not good for trading Opt.

Robinhood closes positions primarily for options nearing expiration if they're "in-the-money," to prevent automatic exercise you might not have funds for, or due to
risk/compliance issues like high volatility or unsupported stocks, though you're ultimately responsible for managing trades, especially for options, as "best-effort" closing isn't guaranteed.

FRAUD ALERT!!!!!!!!!

Just caught the customer service rep lying twice in the same sentence and called him out on it and he quit the chat. I tried to roll an options position and it was not triggering. I even doubled the ask price and nothing. He said there needs to be supply (youre saying every single share is bought LOLOL). I just bought a normal option at that price instead of rolling it and it triggered which means that option for that price would trigger and there is supply. Only when I tried to roll it was it not working. This platform is not an open market platform it is controlled by robinhood and manipulated by their own software.. Allegedly of course. NEVER USE ROBINHOOD. If the markets crash I wouldnt be surprised if they shut everyone out of their accounts and took their money.

Warning: Robinhood is terrible

I signed up for Robinhood's credit card and I really wanted to like them because they're the only credit card that offers 3% back on every purchase. But sometimes things are too good to be true and this is certainly the case with Robinhood.

First, they returned my credit card payments citing an issue with my bank (PNC) and charged me a $25 fee for each one. I have been with my bank for 15 years and have never had any issues with them.

So, I started paying from a different account. They take forever to process charges and payments, so the balance of your account changes constantly and can be really confusing. At one point, they told me I overpaid by over $2,000, so I asked for a refund and they said they don't do refunds for credit limits going negative, which is standard practice for every other company.

The next day it somehow showed I owed $977 and the now it shows it's negative $66. I have not used the card or made additional payments.

When trying to contact customer service, you cannot get a live person on the phone. My emails have gone unanswered and when I reach out through text or via the app, they take hours to respond between replies, sometimes days and they often respond in the middle of the night when I'm sleeping.

I had to contact the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to get an answer to what is going on with the overpayment on my account because Robinhood has such poor communication and does not resolve their issues.

The 3% they give back is not worth the headache, the hassle and the fees.

I will happily use other credit card companies with cash back rewards that doesn't cause all this mess in the future and would recommend you do the same.

How can they wrong calculation?

How can Robinhood or any trading app calculate this incorrectly?
Every time I sell, my average cost price keeps decreasing. Contacted them about an year now still same issue.
This will cause issues when we file my tax returns.

The worst

The worst, rude, ineffective, unintelligent, clueless, foolish, worthless customer service of ANY financial platform. I do not recommend this site to anyone, it may be fine if you do not need in person customer service. If this is in house customer service, there is no better way to get rid of customers.

I started investing with Robinhood…

I started investing with Robinhood only 2 months ago. They advertise it is free, but I have spent alot of money trading in fees. I also notice if I want to put cash back into my checking account they charge me to do that.
I can see that trading with is very very risky and if you plan to be sure to check on the fees. It will eat your money fast.
I am closing my account with Robinhood they can make their fees on someone else.

DO NOT INVEST WITH ROBINHOOD

DO NOT INVEST WITH ROBINHOOD! I have not been able to contact them. They canceled my account with-out an explanation. The chat was disabled on my account. It also does not allow me to withdraw my money form the account.

Despicable business practices

After joining this financial institution, from a reference of someone, I know I later found out that the person who referred me gets a benefit for his referral, which did not make me happy.

After months of making numerous investments, I found that many of the investments were not fruitful at all, as well as being contacted constantly to invest more money.

One day I got a text message telling me that someone had tried to change my phone number on my account and for me to check my account so when I went to my account, I was able to access my account however I was not able to get into certain areas of my account so I made several attempts to contact the support for Robinhood. I continually had problems navigating their website and reported it and simply got AI responses that were completely unhelpful. Finally, I decided to sell all my investments with them and close my account however, when I attempted to do with it, I found that Robinhood was keeping nearly $200 of my investment money and refusing to return it.

Each and every time I contacted them, I got a different excuse until I went to the Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint, but because they don’t have a specific location where the issues occurring it was difficult and maybe not even effective. This disgraceful company still refuses to return my balance of my funds!!!

I don't trust the Robinhood platform

I don't trust the Robinhood platform. They have a referral program where you both earn crypto money, but the referred person receive the reward while the person who referred don't. I spoke to support, but they can't do anything, claiming the error is ours when it wasn't. This way, they gain accounts on the platform and don't pay the rewards.

Robinhood are scammers that want your privacy violated!

Robinhood is not the best to use. They won’t approve my 2 referrals just because they are uncomfortable uploading their whole bank statements and are 18 with no utility bills in their names. Robinhood acts like they have to have a full bank statement to approve an account for ID & address verification. Why is it necessary to see people’s personal transactions history for verification of address? The address is on the 1st page of the statement! These people seem like scammers & identity thieves! They just want to dig in people’s private information to violate citizens of America. This is crazy!

Robinhood is Unethical

Robinhood is frezzing crypto accounts for arbitrary fake reasons. They said i had fraud on my account. i neither engaged in fraud or reported any, yet they kept reveiwing my account and said their decision stood.
That is a bold-faced lie. I am in the processing of deactivating my account.
Stay far away from this unethical business.

I am at their highest concierge support…

I am at their highest concierge support tier. The customer service at this tier is not bad. What’s absolutely horrible are the features and app. There is no ability to download transactions to an external app like Quicken or Quickbooks. Cannot easily see your stocks, positions, value of positions, transactions, etc. Absolutely horrible user interface. Regret moving 20% of my portfolio from IBKR. Glad I did not touch 80% and my trading accounts. Would have been devastated otherwise!
