Missed a sewage leak to sell a £4,000 fix, then theatened me and held my refund hostage
I hired this trader because of their perfect rating - sadly my experience contradicts it.
They charged £199 but missed a dirty leak inside my wall that was infested with drain flies that only breed in sewage sludge. They sent a report blaming "overstocked cupboards" and tried to sell me a £4600 "tanking" job for brick walls even though mine are drywall. If I listened, I would have sealed sewage inside my home's structure, causing structural rot and health risks. When confronted, they claimed their survey report full of errors was just a "different perspective".
They admitted in writing that I was due a full refund, then refused to pay unless I removed this review. They tried to hold my refund hostage to buy my silence. When that didn't work, they sent a vindictive email threatening to contact my neighbors, the freeholder, and other residents in my building to share my private data and correspondence as a form of retaliation "at no extra cost" and as "a good will gesture".
