Excellent haven't started it yet as building the seahorse pirate ship. But being able to build a working typewriter out wood and the way it will look can't wait

Very difficult. Don't skimp on sanding or waxing. Take your time. This should take about 45 to 60 hours to do if you take your time. I enjoyed the challenge.

Four stars because it doesn't actually work. I didn't expect a fully functional typewriter, but I did expect to type a few words. I wrote to support for help but have not received a reply (over three weeks). The product was fun to build but I'm disappointed it doesn't work for even a sentence of typing. There is nothing in the troubleshooting section of the instructions of what to do if the typing keys don't reach the paper.

I have this one waiting in the wings I’m working on three romantic carasoels but of course I had to open the box and check it out I’m very excited for this one I absolutely can’t wait to get it started and then finish it and send robotime a very elegant thanks on the beautiful typewriter paper that comes in with the kit

I’m only half way through but can already tell the keys move just like a real typewriter. Just like so many of these kits, there are challenging parts but that’s part of the fun and you can always find videos to clarify any steps you’re not sure about.
