I would never buy from them again. They have a terrible return policy....

Items takes a little time to get they are not in stock. Powder coating is ok for the roof, but are not pretty enough for what they cost.

Products are awesome. Thought the shipping was a bit steep. Still, you cant get vents like this anywhere else, as far as I can tell.

Poor communication. They can not give me an estimated delivery date. It has been a month since I ordered and every week they tell me it should be done by the end of the week. I was excited to try out a new product before replacing 30 old WhirlyBirds but this experience has triggered me to look elsewhere. I cannot image how long it would take for them to make 30 vents.

Real nice product, nicely made. Exactly as described and shipped fast.

Quick delivery and easy install. So far they don't seem to lower the temp much however and they are noisy when it rains so you may want to spray bed liner on the units.

Bad design for pitched roofs. Waste of time and money.

Ok per your website description, this vent can be used on pitched roofs. This design however, can work only for flat roofs. It would simply allow water to enter inside.
The way is made, looks like is good quality, but I ordered painted and can't be returned.
And that's is disappointing.

Delivered as promied, and as described. I will be ordering in the future.

i bought of pair of Active Vent retrofits -- 13-15 Years ago (!) to replace those useless turbine spinners -- i noticed brown spots on my ceiling - surprised to discover they were letting in rain and they were in good shape and spun fairly fast. i just took out the spinners - fit these retrofits in - they fit just right - fastened the standing vent pipe with some galvanized screws - easy peasy.

Fast forward to 2019 - they still look great although the label has faded from being exposed to the sun - They do not let the rain in - and i live in the NYC area which saw back to back hurricanes - Irene in 2011 and the devastating Hurricane Sandy 2012. These retrofit vents will prob out last me.

It was exactly what I expected, I will have to trust that it works as good as the turnbine I replaced

I ordered a vent cap to be painted. I received an unpainted one. Upon notification active ventilation immediately refunded my money. Sometimes it goes wrong but they made it right. That is my kind of company.

Everything was good but the order could have been processed faster. I think it was 4 days before I got the quote including shipping.

Nice that you sell an extra large soffit vent. I like the 1/8 inch louvers, but I wish that you could have added a stiffening bead or ridge to the vent

The only thing i could recommend would be is to use bubble rap when packing the vent before shipping. The one I received was bent up a little. I could reshape
the vent and still use. Good product

Items received were damaged. powdercoating has easily peeled off of aluminum.

Knowledgable sales associates with a product specifically designed for stove vent exhaust systems

I am still waiting for a response for shipping and handling that was promised to be sent to me. If and when I receive that to pay and receive the vents your rating will improve.

03/21/2019, I emailed roofvents.com some pictures on my kitchen, bathroom and roof vent. Later spoke with Ethan half hours on the phone. At the end,Ethan offer his expert advise on what I really need and don't need, without pushing to sale anything to me.
I REALLY APPRECIATE HIS HONEST ADVISE.
I will recommend this company to anyone as they are honest people. I was going to buy some replacement vent and hoping it will fix my problem but Ethan said I would do it but will not solve my problem.
