Ryanair refusing to reimburse customer

My flight was delayed on saturday the 14th of June 2025 from Dublin to Copenhagen and then RyanAir said that they will reimburse the passengers 4 euros per person for food. I am still waiting for my money to be reimbursed after 2 months now. Also what kind of snack or meal can you buy for 4 euros at the airport? Very poor customer service and communication on behalf of RyanAir.

This airline is a scam

This airline is a scam.

They are one of the most expensive airlines scamming people under the guise of low cost airline. They find ways to charge you in the last minute while checking in. Stay away from this company.

On our recent flight from Santorini to Athens (both in Greece), we paid in advance for 4 cabin bags (10kg each) and two checked in bags (20 kgs each) -- a family of four on a holiday in Greece. For check-in that day we ended up carrying only 1 cabin bag (7kg) and 2 checked in bags (20 kg each).

But the rude person at check-in desk made me check-in the cabin bag and made me pay an additional 36 euros. Reason they gave -- the cabin bag was supposedly 1cm taller than their standard. Can you believe that.

We already paid them €45.19x2 = €90.38 for two checked-in bags, and €22.60x4 = €90.40 for 4 cabin bags and 4 personal bags. We carried only 1 cabin bag instead of 4 we paid for. Still, they had to fleece us to make a few bucks more.

They scam people by creating arbitrary sizes and rules which are different from other airlines and general standards. If you are on a holiday and have 3 or 4 flights to take, every other airline will allow 23kg for check-in, but Ryanair will create a rule to allow only 20kg check-in. Either you will have to carry smaller weights throughout your trips only because of this Ryanair rule, or get exposed to be fleeced by them at the check-in counter.

Best don't fly them. As I said, this company is a scam. They are one of the most expensive airlines if you add up the cost of all this scamming.

Avoid them like the plague.

Average apartment poor service

The deluxeapartment is generally nice and big. even for 6 people. there were 5 of us.
the floor is parquet. it's awful. it creaks and is ruined. you can hear the neighbors walking.
the customer support is awful. god forbid something breaks, because no one answers. i asked for the reservation 3 months before arrival if it was possible to have an earlier check in and a later check out because of the flight. i never got an answer. at least a negative answer. in fact they asked me on the last day if i could leave before 10 am because they have to clean up?
i reported that only two programs are working, i never got an answer

RyanAir will ruin your plans and bring losses!

My worst travel experience is with RyanAir.
Moreover, I have been trying to get answers through all existing channels for half a year now, but their Customer Care Service (so called "care") simply does not give a single solution or answer. The whole process is structured to make it as difficult as possible and not make refunds.
I will never in my life use the services of this low-quality low-cost lowcost carrier and I don't recommend it to anyone.
My story: I purchased my tickets through the equally awful operator KIWI.com. And I was supposed to take off on October 20, 2022 from Bucharest (Romania) to Tenerife with a connection in Rome with RyanAir. I arrived a day in advance to Bucharest and checked in to the hotel, and a couple hours before departure the next day - the flight was canceled without any explanation (I later googled that there was a strike). I got no alternative or solution and had to buy other tickets from Wizz Air (they're good) the next day and stay another night in the hotel. This brought me an extra 1000 Euro expense and a lot of worry.
Since then, for 7 months now, I've been filling out all kinds of clues, inquiries and complaints to these scammers at RyanAir. I try to call, but they won't give me any answers, only an auto-answer in the mail. Never, ever use RyanAir airlines unless you want to jeopardize your trip!

Deceiving information/Useless customer service

Beware of the Zero change fee that they are offering so you buy flights in advance in this uncertain times with the promise you can change it with Zero change fee.
You are only allowed to change your flight twice, after that they charge ridiculous fees + the balance of the second flight.
This conditions is nowhere to be seen in the big add, they cover their back hiding it in T&C that no one has the time to read.
In the end, I have to lose my flight and buy a new one as the fees are twice the price of a new flight. That is how they make the money.
And try to contact their customer service is just pointless.
