Wrong Bed Delivered & I’m Expected to Pay for It

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Rooms to Go. I placed an order in good faith, trusting that the employee assisting me entered everything correctly. Unfortunately, the wrong bed was ordered and delivered to my home, an error that was completely out of my control.
What makes this situation even more frustrating is that instead of taking full responsibility, the store is now expecting me to pay an additional $200 to correct their mistake. That is unacceptable. As a customer, I should not be financially responsible for an error made by their staff.
This experience has been stressful, inconvenient, and honestly disappointing. I expected better communication, accountability, and customer service from a company like this. Instead, I’m left feeling like the burden of their mistake has been shifted onto me.
I would strongly recommend double- and triple-checking everything if you decide to shop here and be prepared to advocate for yourself if something goes wrong.
