Disappointed that the fabric is polyester and not traditional cotton, although considering the price and lack of details in the description I should have been more careful. The fabric is heavily treated (wax or other chemicals). It needs a 60* wash to remove. The fabric is very soft then.
Haven’t made it up yet so can’t comment on ease of sewing and drape.
Overall nice fabric but not traditional Ankara cotton.

This beautiful fabric
This beautiful fabric arrived vey quickly. I am delighted with the quality of the cotton. I washed it at 20 degrees and it is soft and closely woven. The colours are rich and I love the pattern. I am looking forward to making a simple dress. The only surprise was the glue behind the labels which didn’t wash off.
