I had login issues

I had login issues. Kyle from support provided an amazing support. I happened that I was entering my email address instead of my user name.
Kyle also helped me on how to get my music published with other distributors to Line Music. Thanks again Kyle.

Dont trust RouteNote. My review is still pending since…start of March!

My review is still pending since beginning of March.
I've also opened a ticket request more than a week ago, and no response at all.
I'm starting to believe this whole process is...useless and close to be a scam.
More than 33 working days for a review? and the support site tells they are processing discography with a backlog of 20-22 days. Will move to other platform.

**UPDATE: 2hours after this review, they have REJECTED my release. Coincidence? I dont think so. And my release, my audio files are not accessible anymore. I cannot access all my content I have created, it simply disappeared from their website.

RouteNote reserves the right to disapprove or remove any content for distribution at our discretion, should we feel that it falls into one or more of the following categories:
* Content that is likely to fail our partner stores' requirements for appropriate content/ subject matter.
* Content where we cannot be certain about a user's rights for commercial distribution.
* Content that our partner stores may consider to be high risk for fraudulent streaming.
* Content that our partner stores may consider to have been uploaded for the purposes of spam/advertising.
* Content that our partner stores may class as generic.
To avoid artificial streaming patterns being detected and circumvented, our Moderation department may refrain from providing further details regarding the disapproval of your release.

Sadly, any final decisions made by our Moderation department are unable to be disputed as per the terms and conditions that are accepted upon a release being submitted for moderation.

I like Routenote since 2016

The experience I have had with RouteNote has been unprofessional, lacking transparency, and constitutes a serious violation of user rights.

Since the beginning of March, approximately 20 music releases that I uploaded have remained in “under review” status for weeks. During this period, I did not receive any concrete, clear, or satisfactory feedback. Despite repeatedly contacting support, I was only given automated, superficial responses that merely normalized the delays.

When the process eventually progressed, I was informed that my content was not suitable for the platform, without any specific explanation. My account was then fully restricted. No clear reason was provided regarding which content was rejected or why. Only general, vague, and universally applicable standard statements were used.

When I requested deletion of my account and content, the process became even more complicated. I was first asked to fill out a mandatory form, and later my deletion request was rejected on the basis of so-called “legal reasons.” However, these alleged legal grounds were never clearly explained to me.

The response to my Trustpilot review continued the same approach. In the public reply, no concrete explanation was provided, and the issue was redirected back to private support channels, avoiding transparency. This creates the impression of an approach aimed more at reducing visibility of the issue rather than resolving it.

Throughout this process:

Communication was deliberately delayed,
The same issue was handled inconsistently by different agents,
Direct and clear answers were not provided,
There were significant inconsistencies in process management.

As a content creator, I do not accept my works being retained on any platform without my permission. I hereby request the immediate and permanent deletion of all my content and personal data.

I explicitly reserve all my legal rights regarding this matter.

Additionally, my clear advice to anyone reading this is: think very carefully before signing up for RouteNote, because your time is far more valuable than the uncertainty and lack of communication you will experience with RouteNote.

Genuinely appalling distributor

You will likely never ever hear from their support team they do NOT care about the artists and should not be used I have support tickets dated 6 months and a fellow producer of mine has a 2 year old ticket they still haven’t responded to use any other distributor because you likely won’t get paid either without reporting them and kicking up a fuss!

Edit: the route note team state it’s unlikely yet their are countless accounts of the same thing happening to me online where people are unable to get responses to tickets I opened my first ticket in October last year and it still hasn’t even been read I will provide screenshots to prove this is the route note team are going to gaslight people they have mistreated 😅

My 2nd Review

Heyy 2nd review again. I submitted a Content Mapping Request because my YouTube Topic channels were duplicated and the releases were mapped wrong.

Support got back to me and sent the request to YouTube. After some waiting, the issue finally got fixed and the duplicate Topic channels were merged correctly under my artist name.

Took a bit of time but it got resolved in the end. Everything is now correct. 💫

Support is nonexistent

They take over a week to respond to support emails, and when they finally do they tell you to use their AI assistant or submit another support ticket, which would lead to another week+ of waiting for a response. The AI assistant tells you to email support, who tells you to use the AI assistant... Support doesnt even read emails, instead they just look for keywords and copy paste responses. Their support is basically nonexistent.

Edit: lmao I see they replied and still didnt read my whole message even on here! Routenote, I am trying to tell you that your AI assistant doesn't work, it tells you to email support directly.

Great Distributor

I´m glad this distributor still has a free plan so all musicians/compositors can have an oportunity in this world. Also Rowan and Routenote/Soundclouud Support Team were the best helping me with some problems .

Dreadful

Dreadful. Album uploaded with a lead time for sales of 3 weeks to get through whatever process they think is 'moderation'. After a month it is still not released. The time taken to respond to 'support' requests is equally abysmal. I wish I had gone with another aggregator for the 30 albums I have released through this epically underperforming company.
