Product details

Powerful, efficient upper body & arm exerciser which rapidly builds or tones muscle depending on the spin speed of the internal steel ball. Utilises isometric resistance to quickly engage a higher percentage of muscle fiber compared to regular isotonic free weight training, ideal for fat burning and weightloss. Small, light and portable fitness product can be used as a home exerciser, in the office or as an efficient pre-sports warm up accessory. One of the most enjoyable aspects of Powerspin is how effective yet fast workout it is. Produces visible, measurable results within a 30-day time frame for both male and female users, regardless of current fitness levels. Develops 100% non-impact resistance which may be used to rehabilitate elbow RSI, upper arm and shoulder impingement injuries through enhanced blood flow and tendon strengthening. The fast workout of Powerspin strengthens and tones muscle depending while allowing you to rehab effectively.

The ball inside the wheel runs like the wind. Exercising with two Powerspins at once is an experience.

Too expensive to buy from RPM web site vs their Amazon store

This is promoted for use with strength adding exercises but I'm finding that it initially introduces coordination benefits as one learns how to get the best out of it and adds the muscle control and strength to do so. As an older person, likely to have naturally declining muscle coordination for some tasks, it seems to be offering wider benefits than I originally expected.

This device definitely gives a workout - as both the weariness in my arms after using it, and the comments from my physical therapist, amply indicate. My only qualm, and the reason for the deduction of one star, is what seems to me (and I admit that perhaps I am wrong in this estimation) somewhat flimsy construction for a device that generates so much resistance and, as with the handheld gyroscope powerball, the lack of good, understandable, instructions.

Easy to use and the exercises are fun to do once you get the ball rhythmically rolling around. Start out slow, you will feel the burn with this awesome piece of equipment. Quality product.

260 second workouts and I had developed muscles that I did not even know I had. And I mean that. A fantastic product!

Definitely produces dynamic resistance. It may look flimsy, but the shell is tough and everything's put together solidly, as you'd want since a weighted ball is racing through it. I had my doubts about a minute per exercise, until the first time when I struggled to get to a minute. I bought the Powerspin because I needed some more accessible exercise than dumbbells to rehab my shoulders, and after a couple of weeks, I have to say my arms and shoulders are already moving better. The best thing is that the resistance is dialled into the performance, so I don't have to choose a weight. Very happy with my purchase and definitely give it top value for money.

Quite difficult to get the hang of the technique and keep it going for 60 seconds. If you can keep it going then I think it will really help strengthen and tone.
