Don't rely on express shipping

I have purchased from Ruby Olive before when they sold jewellery. I am always excited to support local businesses and placed an order for a gift for a teacher and paid the additional cost for express postage. In total the order was for $74. Six days later it had yet to be shipped. It still hadn't shipped as of this morning, and school ends tomorrow. Thankfully, the company called me today and has refunded my order. I have instead supported Amazon because they can guarantee delivery. I will have to deliver the gift on teacher only days during my work lunch break - my daughter will miss out on the privilege of handing it to her teacher herself. It is a shame I didn't check tracking before the weekend. I could have purchased something from a local gift store instead. My advice if using Ruby Olive: Allow plenty of time for shipping (even if paying express), and check tracking early. I would have saved myself so much hassle and upset if I had done this. No - I won't be relying on Ruby Olive in future. I've given two stars because I did receive a refund easily and quickly.

Fantastic shopping bag

Ordered a colourful shopping bag from Aussie company, Ruby Olive, recently. It arrived super quickly and I'm delighted with it. Love the Australian-themed design. It carries quite a load and folds up into a small, tight, light package. Takes up very little space in my backpack yet opens up to fit plenty of groceries (up to 25kg, I believe). Glad I stumbled across Ruby Olive. So happy to buy an Aussie product - designed, produced and dispatched from within Australia.

Nice product, great service

My wife found jewellery on this site that she wanted for Christmas. Being me I had missed the message and only ordered on December 13th. The parcel was shipped quickly and arrived on Christmas Eve. Shipping to the UK was very reasonable and my wife is delighted with the bag and necklace. My only note would be that the Australian Postal tracking still hasn't caught up with progress after the parcel arrived in the UK but Royal Mail had updates.
