To be honest I don’t think the machine was cleaned! When I brought it home it was clogged up with hair ! Also was blocked something I shouldn’t have experienced ! Also my carpet was more dirty than before ! So won’t be using it again

Powerful suction and fairly decent clean, though not as thorough as professional companies. Easy to book, retrieve and use.
Bad points: very heavy and a bit awkward to lift into car, loud, very slow progress if using properly, uses more solution than bottles suggest, back and forth refilling 3 times in small room, awkward fittings going between hand tool and carpet clean.

Absolutely revolting carpet cleaner. Despite spending a hour cleaning it before use it still covered my daughter’s carpet in someone else’s hair.
Made a complaint but no one yet to call back. Utterly revolting! Do not use!

Easy to collect, machine easy to use, and the price was great!

Easy to order and collect, with clear instructions throughout. The Rug Doctor equipment worked very well and enabled me to complete the job of cleaning our church rug successfully. A straightforward and reliable service that I would happily use again.

I rented a rugdoctor for 24hrs at Weston Super Mare The Range shop. The state of the machine is horrendous and smelly. Though cleaning up my carpet but ends up cleaning the machine instead.

pickup the cleaner at Tesco Lymington finding it still full of dirty filthy water that spilt into the car boot!!! Rug Doctor has NO supervision in place checking on the state the machines when returned.For the money charged this is outrageous!!!!! Beware !!!

You would have got 5 stars but your website says pick up at 8am and the store doesn't open until 8.30am - hire should be from 8.30am if you can't physically collect until 8.30am. Would have saved a half hour wait in the car park

Very easy to set up but you should have a smaller time limit than 24 hrs which is expensive when I returned mine in 4 hrs

It was all very easy to order, collect and return. I would certainly use this carpet shampooer again as I was very pleased with the resuts.

Rug doctor worked well - only issue was I had to clean before I could start as had not been well cleaned

Wish I had hired 48 hrs not just 24hrs

Cleaned carpets well, although I found it too heavy and ungainly.
I ordered the stair cleaning attachment but didn’t pick it up with my machine as I couldn’t see it. Very annoying, although I can’t blame Rug Doctor for that.
Unfortunately, I wouldn’t hire again as too cumbersome and awkward to use.

4 star ⭐️ But only due to the machine not been very clean when I picked it up…
Whoever had it before me obviously didn’t wash it out … But as for the process of hiring the machine out it was pretty straightforward and as for the price very reasonable. Machine worked well and made an improvement on the carpet we cleaned. Will use again

I've used the rug doctor for over 15 years n I've absolutely loved it.having clean carpets but this time, my 2 year old carpets didn't come clean at all n you can see the traffic dirt in the middle of the stairs so with the expense of hiring the machine, buying the solution. UNFORTUNATELY I won't be using it again, I'll definitely hire a professional carpet cleaner

Did the job but not without huge physical demand. The thing is so heavy and inflexible that the company should really consider modernising as the current units have been around for years. A nice mix with old and newer more lighter will be greatly welcomed

Easy to organise renting the rug doctor. Plus straight forward to use machine, and it did an amazing job.The carpets look like new!

Big cumbersome and really tricky to get the hand attachment on. Tripped the electrics leaked everywhere. I abandoned it and didn’t charge them for the clean. Save your money and get something else
