Not even bothering to attempt to return the dress I bought that doesn’t fit. They want $46 of the $189 I spent for me to ship it back ONLY to get a store credit. I will sell the dress on PoshMark to recoup more money than I would get with this company. I’ve never run into a retailer who doesn’t offer refunds and return labels included. BEWARE of this website!!!!!

I’ve bought numerous dresses from Runaway The Label and been very pleased with all of them. The company is easy to deal with and they deliver quickly, even though I’m in New Zealand. The quality of the clothing is very good and they always look identical to the product image, they are true to size as well. Very satisfied customer.

I recently exchanged an item and was impressed by the fantastic customer service. Mia was incredibly helpful from start to finish. It’s rare to have such a smooth and positive experience these days!
Thanks again Mia.

Ive ordered twice with Runaway. I love their designs. They do have a strict return policy, but thats the chance you take with these sites. Most places don't return sale items.
But heir prices are very reaonable for the quality.
That aside, I received a faulty item on a non returnable item. In australia, any faulty item must be replaced (or refunded if a replacement isn't an option)
Mia was amazing and sent me a new one. She was absolutely lovely, and made sure I was happy.
Some of the reviews I've read gave 1 star because of the return policy.
But the policy is something the purchaser should always check before placing an order.
Dont get caught and blame the company.

Please do not buy from this store , it’s a scam ! I had the worst customer service experience! The clothes are not true to size , you can’t exchange, they dont offer the option of full refund back to your credit card. The only option they offer is the credit store. In addition, the shipping costs are also covered by the customer .

Clothes are not suited to my body type but I am stuck with a store credit in the hope that I might find something that I like or might suit me. Would much prefer to be able to access a refund - I’m spending more money on return postage in the vain hope of actually finally finding something to use the credit on. I now have 3 different store credits based off one item that I purchased 6 months ago

Mia was very helpful and super quick to respond, resolved a minor issue within an hour.

I had a really disappointing experience with Runaway The Label. I purchased two dresses after carefully reviewing their size guide and customer reviews, but both dresses were far too large. I immediately contacted customer service to request a simple exchange for a smaller size.
Despite the items being on sale, I wasn’t asking for a refund—just an exchange—but was told only a store credit would be issued. This goes against Australian Consumer Law, which protects customers when items are not as described or don’t match the advertised fit.
Unfortunately, the customer service representative (Mia) was unhelpful and dismissive. I had no choice but to escalate the matter to Fair Trading and the ACCC to have my rights acknowledged.
I won’t be shopping here again and would caution others to think twice, especially if you’re relying on accurate sizing or expect any flexibility in customer service.
I wish I read the reviews here before purchasing as I would have gone elsewhere.

Disappointing Experience with Dress Order
I ordered a bridesmaid dress in size XXL from Runaway The Label during their EOFY sale, only to be told after purchase that the item wouldn’t be restocked. This was incredibly stressful, as it was the final dress needed for my bridal party and I had trusted the website’s availability.
The situation was poorly handled overall. I was left scrambling for a solution with no ability to hold stock or get a guaranteed restock, even though I’d already paid. For something as important as a wedding, you’d expect better transparency and reliability especially when dealing with bridal items where timing matters.
I’ve accepted store credit, but the experience left me frustrated, disappointed, and wary of relying on Runaway The Label for anything time-sensitive again.

Runaway The Label? More like Run-AWAY from the label. The marketing had me convinced I was ordering something chic, elevated, and wearable — but what showed up looked like a pair of toilet paper shorts. Don’t get me started on the buttons on the shorts — you know, the ones that magically do not exist on the model shots. What are we hiding, Runaway?
The fabric feels like it came from the reject pile of a Shein factory, yet somehow this was marked up 500% to pretend it’s premium. Spoiler alert: it’s not. It’s fast fashion in disguise, wrapped up in a marketing bow of deception and Facetune.
I don’t care how many influencers are paid to twirl around in this nonsense — behind closed doors, this brand is cutting corners like it’s an Olympic sport. You can’t get away with selling this level of quality and hoping no one notices.
Do better.
If i could give 0 stars I absolutely would.

I bought a dress and it broke within an hour of wearing it. I emailed to ask for a new one to be exchanged and they refuse completely because "i already wore it". Were replying quickly until I stated that I’m legally entitled to a full refund or a new item. Sent only half the money I spent, along with a rude email from Mia, who has been unhelpful and rude throughout all communications. Had to email a further three times and message their insta to get the other half of the refund. Also commented about my experience on their instagram and they straight up deleted it instead of addressing it. Never order from here unless you want expensive items that break in an hour, or customer service who are rude and ignore what you say. Refund is still pending.

Their express shipping to the US is horrible. I placed my order on 6/13. They say their dispatch time can take 1-3 business days. Until the item is dispatched, there is no way to track the order.
It is now 6/24 and I have yet to receive notification of dispatch. I have no idea what is going on with my order, because I cannot track. I emailed customer service over 2 days ago and have heard nothing. I just expected more for the price of their clothing and shipping.
Part of my order was a dress for a wedding party. I have to now order something else, because I have zero faith that my item is even close to being shipped.

I had a very disappointing experience. I placed an order from Dubai and was shocked by the poor quality of the item. On top of that, I paid extra for delivery, and they don’t accept returns—only offer store credit. My total was $150, but if I wanted to return it, I’d only get $100 in store credit and would have to pay an additional $40 for return shipping.
DHL was begging runway the label to accept the return, but they said through the item away.
*****You apology is not acceptable and your customer service is extremely rude and unhelpful.
In the end, returning the item costs more than it’s worth. Their customer service was extremely difficult to deal with, and the product quality is far below expectations. Honestly, it’s not worth the money, and I strongly advise against ordering from them.

Extremely inaccurate sizing, I don't believe any of their clothes fit their models. Bought a skirt from them with my usual size, way too big, got a smaller size, and still massive. Add to that their return policy is horrible - no exchange policy, meaning if you want another size you would have to pay the return fee ($10+), and they don't offer refunds, just store credit, so you're stuck in a constant loop of buying and returning. Clothes are not well-priced or cute to justify this either.

I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered a dress from this store, followed the sizing guide exactly, and it still didn’t fit properly at all. When I reached out for a refund, I was told they only offer store credit, which is absolutely unacceptable for an online purchase where trying on items isn’t possible.
This kind of policy shows complete disregard for customers. If a product doesn’t fit and can’t be used — especially when purchased in good faith based on the store’s own size guide — a refund should be the standard. Instead, they hide behind a store credit-only return policy, forcing you to spend more money on something you no longer want or trust.
Online shopping requires a degree of flexibility from businesses — especially around fit. The fact that they take no responsibility for this and offer no proper resolution shows exactly what kind of company they are. I won’t ever shop here again and I would strongly advise others to avoid this store.

I made the mistake of not reading the full sentence after the website saying that they offer full returns. I missed out the store credit bit. When you have an online store, multiple items are ordered for various reasons including choice and size. Not offering a full refund means that you are scamming customers by forcing them to buy another item from your store only. I haven’t come across this before and it’s extremely disappointing. I will neither be recommending the store to anyone nor will I be buying from them again.

I ordered multiple of the same dress in different sizes and colours. The team (specifically Mia) was amazing to deal with and helped me through the returns and exchanges process.

Reply from Runaway The Label
Having no refund option for an online store is a huge con. The dress I purchased wasn’t made well and now I’ll have a credit note (which I still haven’t received) to risk on another item.
