We are a group of friendly, expert, optical practices who have served our communities in South East London, North Kent and Surrey for decades.
We have many years of experience in taking care of all our customers’ eye care needs and concerns. Our friendly team of eye care professionals offer quality eye care, optical products, and exemplary customer service to all of our clients. We make sure to take the time to hear the needs of our customers and have since developed a recipe for a consistently enjoyable experience.
Our team of experienced optometrists, dispensing and contact lens opticians are dedicated to providing you with exceptional quality eye care services, at fair prices, you can trust us to take care of your eyesight and vision needs.
We offer a wide range of services including specialist eyecare, dry eye management, sunglasses, children’s eye care, myopia management and hearing care.
Our practices are located in Crystal Palace, East Dulwich Purley, Sydenham, Welling, and West Norwood. We look forward to welcoming you to the renowned Woodfalls experience.
We pride ourselves on the expert and friendly service we offer at each of our six branches.
The clinical reputation and range of services offered by Woodfalls has continued to grow, our success has been due to our committed optometrists, fully qualified dispensing and contact lens opticians, optical assistants and a team of dedicated support staff.
Our practices are fully equipped with the latest in optical equipment and all of our branches offer specialist services. We have the latest OCT (optical coherence tomography) machines at all six sites, we now also offer Optomap scanning, plus The Hearing Care Partnership to provide all things audiology.
As an independent group of opticians we dedicate the time necessary to ensure our customers receive the best care and advice. We work closely with our clinical partners to ensure we focus on our local communities and provide the very best clinical care.

Warm and super customer service
My glasses had been broken for about 8 months as I’d broken the temple/screw. Everyday I’d walk past R.Woodfall wondering if they’d help and Samar and the team exceeded my expectations. Within a few seconds upon arrival I was greeted and made to feel at ease that whatever issue I had could be resolved. Samar showed great dedication and commitment in our brief exchange that I felt compelled to highlight that her and the team are a very special group thank you so much.

Very thorough full eye test
A very thorough full eye test, even though I went in just for a test for over-70 driving licence.
Given that the test was NHS-funded, I suppose that the charge for filling in the DVLA form was to be expected!

I was very clearly informed about all tests that would be done. Everything was efficient, and a lot of care was taken for my comfort. I wasn't pressed to make any changes and was allowed to choose the changes for myself.
Very helpful follow through at the Reception desk too.

The staff are all professional and kind. Reception, fitting and optician were all very good. The optician was very good at reviewing my existing eye conditions.
At no time did I feel pressured into spending on unnecessary products.
When I left I did ask staff about the RayBan META spectacles and was given the opportunity to hear about and see how they work.
