Probably the best motorcycle workshop in Sittingbourne, I took my BMW GS to have a tracker fitted and a minor leak repaired. James had the bike for a day, but the charges for labour were very reasonable. I’m very happy to recommend them.
We bought a Ducati Monster just 3 weeks ago, believing the description (3 service stamps and ‘belts’ changed, plus interim before delivery) would cover our immediate concerns. We had the bike delivered as it was some 6+ hour round trip, thus we hadn’t inspected the bike or paperwork. Just 200 odd miles in and a main service light comes on. Ryder suggested they would pay for a garage to ‘turn the light off’ - but that ignores the work that needed doing - valve clearance checks, a key part of the manufacturer required service, which had not been done as part of any prior work. The work costs a minimum of £280, which they refuse to pay other than the aforementioned ‘indicator light turn off’. Whilst I accept we should of checked exact service details very much more closely before purchase I believe the dealer could have forewarned us about the virtually immediate costs coming our way, as ‘trade experts’ they should have known that 7325 miles at sale would trigger the next service at just 175 miles later.
Just picked up my gs1200rallye today after adding a few more parts and tweaks and the service from james as always was amazing. Looking forward to the summer now. Thanks again everyone at ryders
I bought my bike several months ago and am NOW very happy with it. To anyone buying from this company I say to check the ULEZ status before you buy, as this company does not. When I asked about my bike I was told to "contact the maker". Cost me another £175 to get my bike tested. Disappointed with the service from managers
Excellent family business with a can do attitude to customer requests.
Nothing seemed to much trouble for them with clear advice and experience, where no request seems to cause concern for them taking it in their stride.
Good friendly service with of good selection of bikes and clothing for all riders needs no matter the type of bike, as well as a competitve bike servicing and tyre workshop too!.
