Want to say a massive thank you to Robert L. from Ry Group. Had a boiler repaired and serviced by him and he was absolutely brilliant. Despite some incredibly challenging obstacles, Robert persevered where I'm sure others would have given up. He was so knowledgeable, clear, honest and generous. I can't thank him enough for sorting out what was a massively tough job. His timekeeping and professionalism were also tremendous and a job well done. He is a credit to the company. Actually, everyone I've spoken to at Ry Group have been so excellent. I would highly recommended using them and we will.
Replacement of 3 radiators
Dan came to replace 3 radiators and he did an excellent job! He took the time to explain what he was doing, and he quickly realised that I am hard of hearing, and often lip read, so he adapted for my deafness and made me understand. He cleaned away all the mess, took away the rubbish and then tested all the radiators. Lovely guy, good communicator, and I am very pleased with my new radiators.

On time, super friendly and super quick. Did the job, with no fuss. And was really respectful to me working from home at the same time.
A really super company
A really super company. I have been a customer for about 9 years now...and they have always been great. From the ladies in the office, to the guys who come out to do the jobs...I have always found them to be really friendly and efficient. This time, my sink needed fixing, and Chris worked really quickly, and did an excellent job. I am very grateful for their prompt and fairly priced service.
Disappointed with service, required second plumber to fix leak
Had a plumber attend to investigate a leak affecting the downstairs property. While he identified a minor issue under the sink, he noted the area behind the washing machine was wet but did not properly inspect the appliance pipework.
The leak continued, and we had to arrange another plumber who immediately identified and fixed the issue as a faulty washing machine waste pipe.
Disappointing, as this was a straightforward issue that was missed, resulting in additional cost and inconvenience.
I did raise this with the company, but the outcome did not reflect the impact of the issue.
I had a serious issue with a heating…
I had a serious issue with a heating system which was completely blocked with years of sludge build-up. I asked 2 other companies to help and they weren't interested as they were worried other related issues may surface. Rygas sent their excellent engineer Matt to thoroughly power flush and clean the whole system. Everything is now working better than it has done for years and the fee was much less than others who quoted for the work. Excellent service which I highly recommend.

It cost less than the quotes I received elsewhere, and the engineer was highly skilled, navigating a couple of issues with ease. Overall, I was very pleased with the result.
Lovely new taps
Through Checkatrade, we got Ry Group to repair a broken kitchen tap and replace all our bathroom taps. Their operative, Lewis, did a brilliant job in trying circumstances: the taps on our bathtub had been in place for more than fifty years, and weren’t going anywhere without a struggle! Lewis remained calm, friendly and professional throughout, and now we have lovely new taps that always do as they’re told. We would definitely use Ry Group again – highly recommended.

Great service from everyone we spoke too and who visited the house. Repairs and work carried out quickly and efficiently. Good advice and expertise as well. Will be my first call on anything i need done in the house
New shower installation due to leak
We had Dan over to install a new shower due to a leak. He was super friendly, considered and did the job professionally, efficiently and with a smile.The tiling was done precisely , the leak fixed and he made sure he cleaned up afterwards. Invoices and communications was super easy. Very relieved the issue is fixed and saved companies details as I would definitely use again and recommend. Thank you.

Boiler broke over xmas week
Unsocial hours call out but the problem was fixed and our tenants got their hot water and heating back so we were happy.
Great service and on time
Today Adam did our Yearly Boiler Maintenance/Service and he was a very professional, and pleasant engineer who arrived on time. We will use Ry Group again next year for the boiler service as they are compatible with other suppliers and did a great job.

Couldn't rate this Group more highly. As a sports club with no heating working in this cold weather, we needed urgent assistance. I can only say that, having reported the problem at 9am, it was fixed by noon! No fuss, no bother, just dealt with. Just the kind of service you expect from the Rygroup.
Thorough boiler diagnostic
Dan provided a comprehensive diagnostic on my boiler today. He was prompt, polite and explained the issue clearly. The fee was fair, and I'll be using Ry Group for the follow-up repair work.
Professional and very responsive!
Ry Group have been very responsive, fast acting and professional in their services. I needed a new boiler installed, with a newborn and no heating/hot water for 3 days! Thankfully Ry was able to assess the work & get installation booked in next day, noting my circumstances. Dan was superb for the installation and very friendly. Thanks again to Rygroup for solving our problems!
Good service
Easy to get booked in, identified and fixed an electrical fault promptly. Engineer was cheerful and happy to give advice on other electrics issues while onsite.
Ry Group conference league tier cowboys
Bad customer service, they call you but hardly respond to your email or text messages, asked for their complaint procedure because of Ry is tradesman's from their website who clearly doesn't know how to do his job I've messaged him for an job quote Monday, he messaged back a few times, after that he ignored me Wednesday, I have to chase someone to do a work job for me, that is crazy in 2025, he then said today oh he passed on it to to the team but couldn't be asked to message me back and he couldn't even be asked and he's meant to the presume director and a tradesmen at the same time, how rude... I called in and spoke to the Ry Group team especially team member char she doesn't have a clue what she is meant to do within the remits of her job or say and E's from the complaint departments is even worse than Char, I think this company Rygroup novice family own company group from the vibe that I'm getting. she called me and she doesn't even introduce herself on the phone or get relevant information what my complaint is about, just says I'm from the complaints department and she got told from other members in-regards to my complaint, when I spoke to him, he said no that didn't happen, I spoke to E's again why she lied regarding getting relevant information before she called me, she kept silent and diverted to another topic, she has advised she has been in the job for 3 years but when it comes to questions that me the customer have asked/ to action for but somehow she can't seem to answer or cope so she instead she's put the phone down on me x3, talk about bad customer service right! how she doesn't have a clue how to deal customer complaints, getting paid, no professional etiquette and getting away with absolute blunders is beyond me but they don't care because maybe because they have no choice to put her there maybe from my opinion it's close to her retirement age and no one seems certain to want to work for Rye Group to know how to be professional to customers knowing their main reason as afterall it seems they are a ***novice*** family owed business so I guess that's why their negative reviews speaks volumes in itself and they are ripping some of us customers off with their shady cowboy templates and I'm entitled to have my say, watch how their poor response in how they handle this complaint now

Avoid this company
Avoid this company. A sorry tale of ineptitude & overcharging from start to finish, including trying to blame the customer for their own mistakes. We were able to solve the problem of the initial underestimate for the job at 1/3 of the cost (inc VAT) quoted by them. The boiler is working fine now, but NEVER AGAIN. Don't fall for the hype.
