Sabai is a scam

Sabai is among the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I placed an order for a sofa on December 7 with shipment expected in 5-8 weeks. I emailed them after 7 weeks of radio silence, and they responded saying the couch would be shipped by the end of week 8. That date came and went and I reached out again, and they just apologized and said it would be an extra week. After another week, they said the manufacturer was behind and that I should give them more time. This was super unhelpful, and felt condescending, but what can you do?

After another two weeks without any updates (over 11 weeks since placing the order), I reached out yet again saying I was about to chargeback the couch, and they said it was in the final stages and would be shipped shortly. Great. Then a few hours later, I actually got a tracking email from the logistics company, but it said "Delivery to the driveway or sidewalk outside the delivery location. Notification of the delivery date is provided 24 hours prior. No appointment. No signature required; photo proof of delivery is provided."

I live in a large city that just had a blizzard and they are planning on leaving my new 242 lb couch outside in the snow where it could be stolen or damaged despite paying almost $200 for delivery.

Throughout the entire process, the support team has only provided platitudes and empty apologies. They never once offered to make things right, and they clearly don't care about their customers at all. Stay as far away from this "company" as you can.
