Safari Frank (SF) was recommended to us by our neighbors, and we are so glad they helped us plan our first-ever African safari vacation. We stayed 4 nights in Capetown (Cape Grace), 4 nights in Sabi Sands (Londolozi), and 2 nights at Victoria Falls (Vic Falls River Lodge). I would like to commend the SF team on three things, among others:

1) Guidance on pacing of stay; the number of nights they recommended at each place was just right. This is something we could very easily have got wrong, and were going back and forth about, and finally just trusted them on - and that was the right call.

2) Guidance on properties and tours - while we knew we wanted to do the safari at Londolozi based on recommendations from friends, their advice on specific camps at Londolozi, the other properties, the tours in Cape Town, restaurants, etc. was invaluable.

3) Transparency into pricing and responsiveness to questions and requests. They took the time to respond to multiple questions from our end as first-time safari goers, put in the effort to earn our trust, and will have our business going forward.

In summary, Nicolette, Leandra, and Frank were great! They bring a winning combination of expertise in and passion for this sort of travel, honesty, and commitment to customer service. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

To put it plain and simple, i had the best time. I would absolutely recommend Safari Frank for every Africa trip, the recommendation was great, the organisation of the entire trip and also the communication with the team was top-notch!

I don't even know where to start! Absolutely taken back by the services provided by Safari Frank and Nomad. We booked for our honeymoon, which entailed a 16 day honeymoon Safari with Tanzania including Zanzibar. We had the all inclusive option which made things so much easier. We stayed in Arusha for a night before setting off to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Zanzibar.

I will start with the initial contact and communication.
My first point of contact was with Antoinette. She was so kind, engaged and interested with our desires for this trip, her replies were prompt and she captured everything within our itinerary beautifully. It was exactly what we wanted.
The itinerary comes with a complete write up of each area you're going, the accomodation, the activities and the distinguishing sites in those areas. It also comes with visuals so you can practically imagine you're there. To make things even easier they have their own app which is easily accessed online and offline versions just incase. It has all of your info included as well such as important documents, flights, day by day itinerary and useful tips for health, packing and entry requirements.

Next, Leandra was included to help facilitate our travels and be another point of contact for us. She was also so beautiful, kind and responded to my million questions. Cannot thank them both enough for the seamless trip they had planned, everything was in place for us the entire time. We did not have to lift a finger, it was comforting to know they had it under control.

All of the accomodation chosen was absolutely amazing, we cannot fault them in any way. The staff, the rooms, the experiences, the food, it was all just top notch.
We had someone to collect us from airport on arrival, and then from there we had our amazing guides throughout the safari.
We had the hot air balloon experience in Serengeti, this was Serengeti Balloon Safari's. We were also lucky enough to go during the great Wildebeest Migration. It was all an unforgettable experience.

Finally, the company that Safari Frank use for guides and transport throughout Tanzania were an obvious standout throughout our trip. Nomad, who assisted with booking our guides and flights, as well as transport. They were unmatched. We had Rem for Tarangire and then Anaele for Serengeti and Ngorongoro, I have no words for how incredible they were. Such organised, knowledgable, kind, experienced and beautiful humans. We were so so sad when it was time to leave them. The effort they put into their work to ensure you have the best experience was so obvious. We cannot recommend them enough.

Our last stop was Zanzibar and wow, ending our hectic safari with a relaxing beach club resort was exactly what we needed. Breezes beach club was stunning, the landscapes, the rooms and the staff was incredible.

I was completely over the moon with the trip SafariFrank put together for me and my niece.

This was my first ever trip to Africa and Safari Frank was recommended by a relative. I gave Safari Frank a list of some places I would like to visit.

They came back with an itinerary that looked fine to me.

The trip was more than fine, it was very good. Communication and advice prior to departure was comprehensive and helpful. Road and air in country transfers all happened as planned. Each of the five suggested camps and lodges in Zimbabwe and Botswana were very comfortable and scenic, and the staff, guides and dining were all great.

We used Safari Frank to coordinate our gorilla trekking in Uganda and safari in Tanzania. It was a fabulous trip, it could not have gone better Our guides were fabulous, accommodations were much nicer than we anticipated (even though we saw pictures in advance you are never quite sure if they will be as nice as the pics), every time someone was escorting us at an airport, picking us up for a transfer, etc it was always punctual. The people at the lodges are so nice, welcoming and extremely helpful. They truly know the meaning of genuine customer service. After leaving one lodge the friend I was traveling with said 'they did everything for you except chew your food'. But the heart of it all was the gorilla trekking and safari. We never would have thought we would get so close to so many animals. A lion walked 1 foot from our truck, a cheetah jumped on the back of our safari vehicle and I was only 2 1/2 feet away (less than a meter and it was so cool), and at one point we were so close we could have touched an elephant (but didn't of course). And the gorilla trekking was over the top in Bwindi National Forest, simply amazing how calm and fascinating they are. Also you can get so close to them, just do exactly what the guide tells you. If you go to Uganda ask for Ismail as your guide, he went above and beyond multiple times. He even stopped to buy us rubber boots for the trekking (so much more sense than bringing boots with us and he negotiated a price of $7 USD....crazy). Our guide in Tanzania, Zablow, was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Always communicating with guides from other groups to help find animals.
Note however, when you are looking at prices be sure to add 3% to the cost, we didn't learn about the credit card upcharge until we had agreed on a price and had the itinerary set. That was somewhat irritating.
Whoever you decide to book with ask if they have ever been on the trip, that way they will know first hand the answers to your questions without going by hear say.
I've been on a lot of fabulous trips, but this one is at the top.

I had an amazing safari experience thanks to Jess Coelho. She planned an outstanding experience for me. She was a prompt communicator too. I am a solo traveler and all of the accommodations she had planned were well executed, including transportation. Nothing was less than luxury and I had the vacation of a lifetime.

Everything was as expected and well planned, we would always plan our trips to Africa with the incredible team of Safarifrank🤍

Sabrina was very helpful and a valuable resource while preparing my course with EcoTraining. It was great to talk to someone in my native language who could help keeping track of all the preparations.

We booked our Safari in Tanzania and a stay in Zanzibar with Safari Frank. They were very helpful and responsive in the process of defining the trip, route, options and everything else. We did request multiple changes to accommodations, duration in places and the overall structure of the trip and always received great options in very clear and structured documents for us to review. They also provided us with detailed information about entering the country and what we all had to keep on our mental lists. Overall, we'd always book with them again and can recommend them in planning beautiful safari experiences.

I was researching for a trip to Kenya, and Asilia Africa put me on to Safari Frank - Australian business with in depth knowledge of Southern and Eastern Africa. From the moment we started planning, Safari Frank listened to what I was hoping for on this trip. Having visited many other countries, and enjoyed many safaris, we were looking for an authentic, untouristy, active experience. I travelled with my 2 adult children and one partner, and we had the most fantastic trip. All logistics were taken care of, and went very smoothly, all staff we encountered were helpful and professional. I would definitely use Safari Frank again for my next adventure to Africa.

We had the most wonderful time on our safari, largely thanks to the excellent planning by Safari Frank, who tailored a dream Botswana safari based on our preferences, budget and interests. They were very responsive in the lead up to the safari and prompt with all the documents and information we needed. We loved all the lodges and camps we stayed at and particularly impressed with the support and service we got from one of our lodges plus on the ground representatives of Safari Frank at Maun airport when our transport to Maun had to change (due to circumstances out of anyone's control). We were truly looked after throughout our safari and I've already recommended Safari Frank to my friends and family.
