Assumed my policy from Citizens…

Assumed my policy from Citizens depopulation. Worst mistake ever. Sent out a renewal letter after 2nd year. Few days later I get a letter stating that I need roof inspected or it may result in underwriting decision. Nothing else. Decided to go back to Citizens but mortgage company went ahead and paid before I could stop it. They Non-Renewed my policy without even saying anything and here I am 4 months later with no refund.

dishonest practices

THIS COMPANY IS NOT CLEA RAND AVOIDS GIVING INFORMATION ON WHAT WILL HAPPENED IF YOU DECIDE3 TO CANCEL BEFORE THE POLICY TAKES PLACE. I signed up with a rushing agent, paid, and was told that if I decide to cancel before it took place I would get full refund. Due to the pricy monthly payment I realized I was not going to purchase it. within 3 days of purchasing I cancel. They Kept 88.00 which I was not told. right now is almost 30 days and have not received the partial refund. Manager told me in an anger voice that I should know better, (as If I worked there)

Customer service and other departments are uninformed

I've been calling to receive a refund check since end of April. I have been told on THREE occasions that the refund check is going through "expedited review"... which takes 1-2 business days... AND YET, I called back again today and the check is being REVIEWED for approval on IF it can be expedited. Absolute idiocy running rampant. Every time I call, I am told a different plan of action. So, each customer service rep believes he or she knows better than the last person I spoke with. There is no ability to make contact with any other department. I am so thankful we never needed to file a homeowner's claim with this company. I am so THANKFUL we never needed them during a time of crisis. It would have been an absolute clown show dealing with the employees.
