I am so happy I was able to get the Safer Escape ladder. The installation went smooth. My home and my loved ones are safer with this ladder. It is a genius idea to get out of the house from the top floor. Five years ago our neighbors had a terrible fire. The grandmother was assisting the children , who were upstairs, to the fire department’s extended ladder from their fire truck. The grandmother suffered terrible burns and died three days later in the hospital. I think all homes with more than one level should be required by law to have this ‘Safety Escape Ladder’. I’m sure that when the day began, my neighbor had no idea the nightmare they would experience that evening.
