Too early to rate the product because I live in a remote mountain area. I will however state that the service team at Safer Pet are top notch. Definitely 5 star

After some trepidation about signal quality and whether this was right for our needs, i have come to the conclusion that this is a brilliant piece of kit. So far it has "found" our dog three times in a 200 acre orchard. He has a tendency to tear off and forget us, then remembers "oh, we came by car" and returns to said car, in a very quiet lane, then remembers he was actually with us, proceeds to try to find us by retracing our walk, then eventually finds us. By which time I've used the find pet button and know which direction to look when he homes in. It gives peace of mind, and is also useful when i travel in the van with him, as i can be found too! The only thing i think is "pants" is the find device chime. Unless you are on top of it, it's a chocolate fire guard. I am in touch with Safer Pet and they are reviewing my suggestions about chime sound and maybe shorter tracker intervals, for greater accuracy.

Bought as my cat is a wanderer and wanted to keep track of him. Size wise the device was perfect, however would not connect, emailed support and the got the device connected however this lasted 6hrs then went offline again and did not come back. The device then kept turning off even though fully charged. Returned.

A bit troublesome to set up, however it works brilliantly! We are now addicted to watching both our cats travelling habits! Fascinating! They can’t hide from us anymore….. we know where you are!

This is a good tracker. I can give 5 out of 5. But when cat inside the house or wifi area, tracker shows he is in 2 miles away from home. But when moving away from WiFi it will show most accurate location

Please do not purchase from this company !!!!!
My tracker never worked and after returning in the appropriate time I have never received a refund .
The company are still taking monthly payments and Theo from “so called “customer service is the rudest individual I have ever experienced.

Awful product. Don’t waste your money.

Battery life is terrible and completely unacceptable for a product like this. Even on the settings that supposedly used the least battery we were having to remove the tracker every day to recharge it.

The reliability on capturing data points was awful. On several occasions we got no tracking data or one reference point even though our pets had been wearing them a whole day.

As we were having to remove the trackers every day to recharge the silicone cases start cracking and disintegrating after only a couple of weeks.

The final highlight was our cats collar came off one day. It was fully charged in the morning. At the point we realised it had come off the battery had run out so we were not able to locate it, so lost our investment after only 3 weeks of use.

I returned the one tracker we still had but did not receive a refund on the one lost even though it was the inadequate battery life that caused it to be lost.

V.v disappointed.

Please do not bother wasting your money like we did.

After looking at various different GPS trackers I chose to go with this one as it ticked a lot of the boxes. I have 3 cats and this tracker has a maximum of tracking 3 cats on one app. They arrived quite quickly and were easy to set up. One of the tips it gave to achieve a more accurate reading of location was to switch of the 'Set Local Base Station' to off. I did this however, even though my cat might be sitting right next to me it doesn't show that on the map when you click 'Find Pet.' Although its not far off, maybe across the road or in a neighbours garden according to the map. I'm assuming the blue ring you see on the map is stating your cat is in the vicinity. The battery can run low quite quickly depending how often you want your app to refresh. I keep my cats in at night so I find recharging the batteries during the night is best for me. They do take about 2 hours to totally recharge. I did wonder if my cats would make a fuss about wearing them but they didn't make any fuss at all as if there was nothing there. Overall I am fairly pleased with them and would recommend them.

I have only had this tracker a few days, it seems to work oK, not put it through its paces yet. However I am giving this Safer Pet 5 stars because the customer service is excellect. I was in contact with customer service at 22:15 last night as they were trying to get me back on line after as unusal problem with an exteral supplier. Many thanks for all your help a refreshing change from my last tracker company.

The device is quite bulky for a cat but my cat, being quite stocky, tolerated it well and it wasn't too heavy or obstructive. It came with easy to read instructions and was quick and easy to charge up though rather fiddly trying to access the port.
It worked well on the whole giving me insight into where he had been disappearing to as he went to the same place every day so I now now what area to focus on should he disappear again. His level of activity amazed me as well as being fascinating that he always went to the same places. So many steps for a 10 year old arthritic cat! Now I know why he eats so much yet is so sleek!

However, there were frequent glitches showing him to be miles away down the A1 scaring me half to death as I thought he had been taken or hitched a ride or worse. He even was shown to be down south! (I am in Lincolnshire)! On reporting glitches via the Facebook page the team were quick to respond and sorted the issue.

Secondly, and the biggest issue to let this product down, is its battery life. If doing hourly checks it lasted just over a day. A lighter check then two days. The reason I bought this was because he was vanishing for two or more days so I am left assuming and hoping he was at his last pinged location.

Overall, I am glad I tried this and if you have a cat who disappears it's worth trying but be aware of the battery life.

I have 2 devices, one for each of my cats. I bought these after trying Tractive which turned out to be awful (one of my cats went missing over a weekend and Tractive just would not work). The saferpet device is small enough to put around a cat's neck. Safia was amazing. She helped me set up my devices. I had an incident where one of the trackers temporarily stopped working. Safia took it upon herself to help me locate my cat who was wearing the faulty device. Safia actually went above and beyond by helping me track the device after hours and over a weekend. She also straight away offered to replace or refund me for the device.

I have dealt with many companies and I have to say that the level of service Safia provided was second to none. I would definitely deal with this company, especially because of Safia.

The only reason I have given 4 stars as opposed to 5 is because the tracker itself could be a little better such as the alert sound could be a little louder.

Very easy to set up, and connect to app. Accurate at within 10 metres. Cat sitting at far end of garden was shown to be in opposite neighbours garden. After buying the device Ollie is shy about going out, so it is not getting full use at present. He was a lockdown kitten and vets were only doing emergency's, so stayed in until he was chipped chopped and jabbed!! I do wish the chimes were far louder. This device would be impossible to find in thick bushes or shrubbery. Knowing it was within 10 metres would be little use if it was hidden from sight. My previous cat made a habit of losing collars, he lost about 6 plus in his lifetime and I only ever found a couple.

If you need safety of mind to know where your pet is then look no further than Saferpet. Great for dogs or cats that wander off. I have used this product on my dog and it is great knowing I can find out where he is whenever I need too. Great customer service, speedy delivery and support and very communicative. Overall a good product if you need to track your pet.

Most of the time I am very happy with the product for peace of mind but on occasions it says our boy is over half a mile away which we know he isn't, so a little inaccurate.

Sorry I have arranged to send it back as it was not working well. When it was in the kitchen it was saying it was over a mile away and it never showed the correct address. And it was to bulky and difficult to take on and off.

An excellent product , very good delivery and excellent customer service.

Device arrived quickly but there was an issue with the holder. I contacted Safina who could not have been more helpful arranging to send replacement holder. This is proper above and beyond customer service. The replacement just arrived.

Unfortunately it didn’t work in the area we wanted it too due to the bad mobile reception (not the fault of the tracker) so had to return it. The company was very understanding and promptly refunded. Very good and easy transaction
