SAIA is a small beauty brand made in London. I'm Lilas — a mum of two, and a Londoner whose mornings allow about four minutes of mirror time before someone needs breakfast or a meeting starts. I didn't set out to build a beauty brand. I set out to solve my own problem: I was tired of choosing between drugstore makeup that washed me out and luxury makeup that was eighty percent packaging. So we made a short range instead of a big one. Brow gel, mascara, lip liner, tint, glaze, highlighter — the morning routine of a woman with somewhere to be, edited down to its honest minimum. Every formula is vegan and never tested on animals, anywhere in our supply chain, and every one is made without synthetic fragrance, parabens, sulfates or drying alcohols. Everything is formulated, filled and shipped from our own studio in London. Never outsourced, never white-labelled. Before anything launches it's tested by real women — friends, mums from the school run, women I met at parties. If it doesn't earn its place in a real morning, it doesn't ship. We also try to be quiet about it. No countdown timers, no "twelve people are viewing this", no invented scarcity, no press logos we can't back up.
