I tried to delete my profile 8 times. Each time, I was stonewalled with claims that it would take weeks. We all know that's untrue. So, if they wouldn't let me fade away quietly, I decided to go scorched earth! I logged back in and destroyed every friendship I made, real or not. I got particularly nasty. I insulted and disrespected the women that I really liked talking to. I know they were not who they said they were, but I figured out a way to get free credits and I exploited the hell out of it. That allowed me to have a lot of free conversations with them. Long story short, I asked for deletion again, they gave me the run around, and then I told them what I did and that I was so mean, nasty and disrespectful to the women and their pain and suffering was Sakuradate's fault. I told them that I intentionally violated the site's code of conduct and requested a ban or suspension. Boom! Account deleted. Weird. It's unfortunate the company forced me into those actions. I begged them to simply delete it before I resorted to such actions. Now they respond with they couldn't help me because I didn't supply information blah blah blah. I don't want you to fix it, I want your service investigated for fraud, lol.

This site is 100% a scam. You can’t delete your account. You click on the “Delete profile “ button and it sends you to a chat with an “agent” who procedes to try to upsell you or give you a discount but will not ever process the account deletion. STAY AWAY FROM SAKURADATE

I’m so glad to find these reviews and be able to add my experience. This site is a scam 100%. There is absolutely no way of ever contacting or connecting with their models/employees off site at all. I went the distance with 2 member profiles and even after exchanging info with them they aren’t responsive to communicate that way they just try to suck you back into the site to communicate with credits. I’m sure they are employees. I have exchanged messages with another profile who has pretty much confirmed they are all in on the scam. These women are here 24/7 and they all ask the same stupid questions and state the same lies. “Oh don’t worry this is the way we will get to know eachother let’s continue to chat here” I’m like of you really like me and want to know me why are we wasting time here? It’s all a lie and an expensive game. I’m in $4600 I will be speaking to my creditors to explain I have been a victim of this site. I wil be using screen shots from others who have had the same issue and experiences the same scam. We would probably hold more weight if we combined as 1 force. This site f’ing sucks. Everyone of us that has been scammed can go on and on and on about it look at the average length of a complaint. The ones that give 5 stars are short and brief and are pretty much lying. I have yet to see anyone as compassionate about their gain or win on the site than anyone who has been ripped off. That to me hands down shows me we are all victims of a scam.

Profiles are fake, using multiple models (birthmarks don't change and move from photo to photo) and AI to string users along. Inability to exchange contact details with other users without incurring significant costs. Models being servants to the company.
Exorbitant pricing for credits, models needing more than the listed credits to communicate, and the credits are quickly depleted during any communication. My model kept asking for more credits than was needed stating that the system could be hacked and it would be just us, I ended up using $8,000+ usd to only get scammed and forced to use Telegraph. Bye.

today i bought credits for 15 dollars suposedly 45 credits after one sentence chat i was informed i was out of credits. i really wanted to finish talking to lady so i bought 45 more credits same thing happened. i have spent hundreds of dollars on this site to get to know this lady an now i can not connect with her because i am cheated out of credits every time the law should intervien with this kind of treatment of u.s. citizens by foriegn companys. all phone numbers have been removed from internet, they do not respond to there support site. no office in U.S. they are based in Cyprus and the U.S. has no jusitriction so can not file suit agaisnt them for false advertising.DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS SITE YOU WILL NOT GET ANYTHING BUT AN EMPTY BANK ACCOUNT..I KNOW after spending over $2000 no way to contact support team they said to contact in reply.just more bull shit to cover up decepttive practices

It is a scam please avoid it. Way too expensive spent almost £1500 $2000 no connections. They always block you from exchanging your contact details. I believe the employees of Sakura date write all the replies. The profile pictures are too good to be true. You get bombarded with love letters chats photos and videos from lots of ladies. It is too expensive to reply to all of them. They have a 15 day talk policy before you can get contact details. I hit this threshold twice only to discover you must have a spend of 5000 credits about £2K, then another 500 credits to spend as a request to get the ladies contact information. So your spend will be at least £2000 plus before getting any personal contact details. What if the lady says no after all that expenditure. It is a scam and a money making scheme they get you into a love trap you get addicted fixated and stuck spending loads of money. I have requested my profile to be deleted more than 7 times they will never do it. Making excuses offering 50 free credits to keep you on the site and addicted to it. Fake ladies terrible experience wasted lots of money. I utterly denounce this site it is a scam and horrible. Keep away and off it don’t be deceived and fall into a love trap. I messaged the support team many times to delete me they won’t always a 7 days to wait then you message them again always they make another excuse like it is complicated and takes time but they already said 7 days still no joy. I messaged them to tell them all it is an online messaging forum that allows flirting and sexual content. Never meeting up with anyone at all! Don’t get addicted, don’t get deceived and don’t waste your time or money. It is useless and futile there. Finally a lady on the site wanted to meet up with me in the UK flying from
china. I gave her my availability and was expecting her to come. She then messaged later on to say the flight was cancelled and her mum living in Birmingham UK according to her cancelled the tickets. She previously messaged that she’ll be buying the tickets. So the whole thing is a fake. She provided no evidence by photograph or screenshot that she actually bought tickets, flying from China in the first place. You just get love bombed and bombarded by so many messages is overwhelming you cannot afford to respond to everybody.

This is a scam site and the owners are complicit with it. They have women on the site that will send porn, and pretend it is them, the site knows and refuses to stop it or advise the men that it happens as they make money from the men having to pay to watch it. It's a scam site and should be investigated, and I have proof of it happening. They paid me 5000 credits to stop the complaint about it. For example; I started talking to a lady and she started sending videos of porn and she pretended it was her. You have yo pay yo watch every video, send messages, read messages, look at pictures, basically you have to pay for everything on this site. To get so called direct contact details their policy is, you have to spend 5000 credits chatting, and then you have to chat for 15 days, and then after you spend hundreds, nearly thousands of pounds £, you still have to pay another 500 credits to finally receive the contact details. When I finally did all they asked, I still had to go through security checks and then what I got was a hyper email address, not her own personal email address, which in legal terms is a scam as I paid all that money and spent all that time and wasn't given what I paid for. The girl admitted she was sending porn and the email address wasn't her direct contact, so legally I was conned into paying hundreds of pounds for nothing. I complained and they offered me as a hood will gesture 250 credits, I was disgusted and someone called Max emailed and when I told him about what was going on I felt he was only trying ro cover it all up because fhe company was making a lot of money from girls using their site to send porn, which brings it to the point that they are aware of what is going on and refused to let the men know what the women are doing, they continue to allow it, so there for the only thing that makes sense is that the company is paying these women to make fake accounts to scam people. I was given 5000 credits after arguing my case with this Max as compensation for being scammed. The woman is still using the site and therefore proves they are complicit with conning the public and scamming customers. I am still debating if to take this legal, as I have the proof of what I have been saying.
Your reply is a joke as you haven't done a single thing to stop it, the lady who did this is still doing it because she is making you money, by scamming people. The refund you say you gave me, I had to argue to get as ut started at 250 credits, which I was absolutely disgusting with. As you can see I used 450 of the credits until I realised I was wasting my time because I don't know who is real and who isnt. So I am going through trust pilot to ask for a refund of the remaining balance, as you have refused to do anything about it and your reply is lies. Sue me if you want, but I have the proof of what I'm saying. Today it 22nd December 2025 and the lady sending porn is still actively doing it and you are making a lot of money by her scamming the customers for you, and God knows how many more women are doing that and making miney for your company. I am absolutely disgusted with your blatant lies. I can not use your site due to the lies and the scamming that goes on, and would like the remaining credit refunded into my bank. Please don't talk on trust pilot that you take things seriously and then do absolutely nothing about it. You are making money from women in your site scamming people and you know about it and have done nothing to stop it but make excuses. Either stop it or close your site down. And i do not believe these women are doing what they're doing from the goodness of their heart when it's making your company millions.

Total scam. Despite many attempts, they won’t close my account and keep sending hourly promo emails. From morning to night they won’t stop emailing me.

The worst dating app out there. It charges you a lot for credits which barely allow a conversation. If you meet someone they will block any attempt to meet the person outside of the app by blocking email addresses etc. SakuraDate demands that you spend a minimum number of credits and that the user waits a number of weeks before being permitted to contact people on the app directly. This amounts to hundreds if not thousands of dollars.
DO NOT USE THIS APP!
They are playing on people’s emotions in pretending they could meet someone but not letting them meet without using the app, and spending huge amounts of money, even though the person has consented to being contacted directly.

I would have given a zero if I could. It is a huge scam. These “girls” are only there to get you to spend your money. The one I was talking to was online 24/7. No matter what time I got on she was on. Then she sent pictures of different people. To be allowed to talk to them off of this site you will have to spend over $1000 just to potentially get their email address.

This site is a total scam. Worse: it is designed to be a scam from A to Z.
Don't believe the 5 star reviews that may appear here or elsewhere: they were also generated by fake accounts. See the global distribution of stars: almost all are either 1 (which means 0) or 5 (which is totally unrealistic considering the overall low quality).
Most of the profiles are fake. Pseudo-intellectual questions are asked to you by bots with unreal "photos". Fifty years old women appear as being twenty, with not a single wrinkle. They all have wonderful jobs. They never answer any precise question about them. Their only purpose is to make you talk (and pay for it), like bar hostesses.
Now, after seeing this review, this website asked me irrelevant private data for providing an "adapted" answer to my "request" , such as my phone number. But this is a notice and not a request for any assistance. I refused and they say they can't find me: sure, I have left the site!

An awful site that won't let you unscubscribe or delete your account. When you click the 'Delete my account' button, it won't do it. It just opens up a support chat window. Really bad.

Total scam.
Get out of there. Better, do not enter this website.
You'll never get in touch with real persons there. All is fake.
You've been warned.

I will honestly say that I feel this site is an absolute scam. They lure you in by putting up fake profiles of women that contact you. There’s no customer service. There’s no checking backgrounds on any of their participants.
And for my final comment. If you supposedly meet a person who would like to exchange information. They were you in by asking you to send letters back-and-forth sharing one phone number or one letter from an email at a time in order to communicate. They also sometimes add pictures to get you to click on them at 50 credits for each picture. Whatever you do don’t fall for the trap.
Your charge to communicate with someone. The person on the other end tries to extend the conversation by sending letters. If you respond, you must buy their credit which are exceedingly high in price.
In summary, save your time save your money. If you’re truly interested in meeting a real Asian woman. Either go to that country in vacation and enjoy yourself your band to meet someone. In the end, it’ll probably be cheaper than joining this site.
As an update, I had contacted their customer support. Time and time again I was told that there was nothing that they could do. Each time they came back with offering free credits, which are meniscal compared to the amount of money that was spent while I was on the site. If you do meet someone that you’d like to learn more about and try on your own to give them contact information. They censor your messages and block out any emails or phone numbers to prevent this. The only way that they claim that you can contact the person is to have spent at least 5000 credits, you could go on their website and do the math for yourself, and have active contact for 14 days. If at that point both parties are interested all you have to do is pay another 500 credits to get direct contact for the individual so let me do the math for you 1000 credits will cost you approximately $200 . therefore, if you do meet someone online, you would have to spend approximately $1000 or more just to get a personal contact with this person.
If you asked to be removed from the website because most of the women basically just drag you on as I mentioned before to send back and forth letters, you get charged to send a letter and you get charged to read a letter. After insisted to be removed, I was told, each time to please give them a reason each time I gave them the reason and they always asked to reconsider. After four attempts at this, they finally agreed to remove my account.
But the removal would take seven days before it will be done. Why, I have no idea.
They signed you up with 10 minutes and take your money immediately. So I can’t understand why it would take a week for them to remove your account.
I recommend everyone do their own homework and search other sites to get reviews. You will find that I’m not the only one that has very similar complaints. Choose wisely.

Scammers are always a concern in online dating. Well this site and their business model is the scam itself.
You will spend more in a day talkin a modest amount to a few women than you will for a month’s subscription to other sites. And they are not clear upfront how much each text, photo or video costs in credits. And the women’s closely guarded contact info will cost you several hundred dollars. And if you want to delete your app..four or five emails later they are still making offers trying to get you to stay. If you really want spend thousands book a tour with a service and go to Asia. At least you know you’ll meet women.

I'm a web programmer of 30 years. The site is clearly a scam because all conversations are bot generated, those that are not, are full time workers who give witty nonsense responses, instant love and milk the conversation far beyond what is "normal behavior" just to drain credits from the account. They limit all messages <300 chars also to prevent you from getting your monies worth or sending big letters. Whole site is engineered to extract money and give false hopes. I wrote I was a bi-sexual porn star with 5+ kids and immediately all ladies (100% all) whom I winked/wrote and those who wrote me seconds after signup (amazing right.. LOL), including religious shy social workers, were like "oh, that's nice, I agree with your profile. Do you think you are ready to have love ever lasting with me forever?" I mean it's a joke!
VERY expensive and every hook is designed to extract more and more and more. Very clever site, marketing, beautiful looking. The girls/profiles are amazing, top 10, but as you might imagine, sell dreams, sell a lie and desperate guys will pay until they go broke or realize they are chasing a rainbow in the sky.
Never actually meet someone from this site as all conversation is monitored, flagged, controlled. Girls don't even read your profile details until you ask them.
The site is CASH machine and the models, profiles, are paid profiles of woman you will never meet. Spend hundreds of dollars and you still will be unable to exchange contact information or get real information.
Were they really go wrong is they make communications so expensive that you will go through $20/10 minutes and they bombard you with 20 girls within that 10 minutes; so if you write 1 message to each your already out of tokens/credits.
If the site made their prices less aggressive and their instant love stories/fantasy bot talk less obvious, they might really be able to scam a lot more guys. No one talks the way these girls do in the real world. Insulting and gives the worst of names dating sites.
I have been told I will be trolled and spammed for telling the truth.
GUYS don't just skip this site - RUN!

It is totally set up as a scam.
The only good thing was the volume of women.
Unfortunately, you will go broke
trying to conversate with one. Heaven help you if you are trying to sort out multiple candidates.
A subscription or membership base would be more realistic. But that would be for a company legitimately wanting to provide a service for both parties. I would really like to see behind the curtain. I would guess that at least some of the women are compensated. To coincidental that they tend to steer you to the more expensive transactions. Really a terrible waste.
AI BOT is listing them as the best site. I am sure it has been manipulated.
Today I wake up to them wanting to give me VIP status which gives me 100 credits. I'm not getting back on that hamster wheel.
Even though yhe women suggest/encourage it,
don't think you will slip a phone # or any other alternative media contact in via code.
They know you will try this and the women are in on it. Just one more "Letter" you have to send it via "Letter". Capitalism at its worst.
Not to mention the women steer you away from chat and towards the "Letters". 10 credits to read theirs & 30 credits to send one. 50 credits to view a photo.
Don't believe any of the reviews for any sight that uses credits or coins. The reviews have been manipulated in my opinion. They spin it as it's better for you. Do you really think they have your best interest in mind?
