I unfortunately never received my purchase. Communication is near on non existent, I keep getting review requests though, at this stage I would like a refund.
Great products Looks amazing and good quality
Love this small Mumma business ♡ i bought the pink vintage overalls and they are amazing! They were on preorder and were totally worth the wait. Love them 💕
I pretty much always buy something from them on their sales. Gorgeous, slightly quirky (in the best way) items. I love their stuff.
The little & bigger clothes are gorgeous.
I’m buying for a baby winter & summer.
The little suits from Salty Shreds for summer, are so colourful.
It can be worn running around home or the beach.

Beautiful Quality Cool Clothing! I love everything i've bought from Salty Shreds, great quality fabric and affordable and wash and wear really well. Thank you! from Tweed Heads NSW
Just bought some cord shorts for my daughter in-law she loved them! I got myself shorts and a tee! love love love as always
Order was delivered promptly clothes were amazing very well designed and well made. My daughter loves baggy clothes on her kids and I’m sure she’ll love these baggy grow suits and beanie for her yet to arrive new daughter.
The most comfortable pants I’ve ever worn!! I’m not your ‘typical’ surfy chick in terms of body shape or age!! Really happy with the items I’ve bought so far and will be back for more! The persona touch and friendly communication are so refreshing. Thank you!!
I bought it for my granddaughter on the Gold Coast. I’m currently in Sydney and haven’t actually seen it. I saw it liked it online and sent it to them. My daughter loved it. She said that it was a beautiful material. It looks so cute. Then she went through the catalogue and she never heard of you guys before and she she was just like wow so you’re certainly gonna get a lot more business out of our family. Everybody. Take care.
Always get soooo many comments on my Salty Threads gear! Love the designs, quality and customer service!
Buyer beware! Read the care labels! I was sent items made from synthetic materials, that were advertised online as 100% cotton or linen. When I contacted this business they were extremely rude, and dismissive. They have refused to provide a lawful solution, I’ve had to report to consumer protection to have my issues resolved. They also openly told me that sometimes their manufacturer miss-labels garments. Read your labels and don’t let them bully you, as this whole process reeked of dodgy business conduct.
Update to seller reply:
Several claims in the seller’s response are factually incorrect.
The statement that I “refuse to return the items” is false. I have repeatedly offered to return all items and they remain packaged and ready for return. This business has refused to provide a reply-paid return label and refused to refund the original shipping costs, despite the items being not as described. Under Australian Consumer Law, return postage and initial shipping are not the consumer’s responsibility in this situation.
The claim that the website “stated everything clearly” is also false. These items were advertised as “brand new, just never made it to the shelves,” and not as imperfect or defective goods. They were also advertised as being made from 100% natural fibres. The garments received were cotton/spandex and cotton/viscose, as confirmed by the care labels. Discounted pricing or clearance status does not excuse inaccurate product descriptions under ACL.
The ringer tee referenced is still advertised online as 100% organic cotton, despite the care label stating otherwise, even after this discrepancy was brought to the business’s attention weeks ago, which is misleading to consumers.
Regarding the chargeback: after reviewing consumer protection information, I provided my bank with the relevant documentation. Any action taken was determined by the bank after reviewing that information.
I am particularly concerned by the threat that my personal details may be “publicly displayed.” Any attempt to publish or share a customer’s personal information would be wholly inappropriate and unlawful. This is consistent with the manipulative and bullying conduct I have experienced from this business during my dealings with them.
The seller simultaneously claims financial hardship over this matter while also suggesting I purchase discounted items because I “can’t often afford” full-priced goods. This contradiction is inappropriate and has no bearing on the fact that the items were not accurately described.
Throughout this process, I experienced gaslighting, dismissive and unprofessional communication, which is why I am leaving this review.

Fantastic quality clothing and terrific communication regarding order status etc. They look fantastic on my grandson
The clothes are simply gorgeous. However the sizing is a little small. I’m a large in most brands and have found the XL pants to be more of a medium. Along with the L skirt and top I purchased. Love the clothes still. Simply gorgeous. Had many compliments on my new jumper 👌
Purchased a few items for my little Grandson for Xmas and I am very impressed with the quality, I definitely think these will last a few hand me downs.
Excellent customer service via email correspondence and considering I bought at the busiest time of year, the delivery time was great.
Awesome products, fantastic personal service, and a welcoming vibe.
Keep being you!
Fab website so colourful and most gorgeous photosof the products I can almost smell the Ocean just browsing.
I bought the cutest little Board shorts for little man Jack and bikini for little Miss Isabelle for Christmas. Cannot wait to see them in their new salty threads.
I like how the rashie looks like a tshirt. Great colour and print. So refreshing compared to in the shops where boys wear is all Dino's and trucks.
Great quality casual clothes. The cotton knits are beautifully soft and wash well
