Sambanis.Art - Custom oil portrait from photo Reviews

The painting is really beautiful and Aleksandr was awesome he followed me during all the creation process. It was a gift for my dad he loved it!

The two portraits I ordered didn't just meet my expectations. They EXCEEDED my expectations! Alexandr Sambanis is a truly talented artist and a world expert in portraits. He also has a very professional approach, sending me regular updates on progress and even photos of the preliminary sketches. The art itself was very well packaged and travelled from Ukraine to Ireland quite quickly in the circumstances. I'm extremely pleased!

We ordered a custom painting for our anniversary. It arrived and was absolutely amazing. The painting went beyond our expectations and the framing was beautiful. We gave the artist an idea and a couple of pictures…. He created the painting and made sure we were delighted with the outcome. Every email was responded to and he checked on us during shipping. Wonderful experience!

The artist communicated throughly throughout the process. the photo was low resolution and they were able to make it really come to life. the painting was beautiful. thank you so much!

This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The Portrait of my dog was more than we could hope. We will treasure it always. Customer service was excellent. The artist is incredibly talented! Love to Ukraine!

We absolutely loved our painting. Quality work and great communication!

I had a memorial painting done of my mum. I couldn't be happier, it's perfect in every way. The talent is out of this world

Aleksandr did an AMAZING job creating a painting of my Uncle. He was very responsive and was patient with my request of stitching a few photos together to create the perfect portrait. Friends and family are shocked at how well done the painting is and how it looks identical to my uncle! The frame options that were given made it easy to add on and really finished the painting. If you are looking for someone to create a portrait you’ll love, definitely get one from him! True artistry and talent. Mahalo Aleksandr!

Wow! I don’t have any negative words to say! Not only is the painting perfect, but the story behind it now is even better. A few months back I commissioned Alex to paint a picture of my sister and her husband from their wedding. I asked him to include their dog in the painting. He sent me a draft and went to work. War struck the Ukraine and Alex was on top of everything. He kept in touch and let me know what was going on with the painting even as he was evacuating his home and work shop. Weeks go by and I finally get a picture of the completed painting and it was amazing! Everything I had hoped for. Shipping was quick and it was packaged beautifully! I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again, if I could give 10 stars I would!!!!

We have now commissioned TWO portraits from Alex. The first one was so breathtaking that my daughter had to have one also. Alex, is a delight to work with and very easy to communicate with. I find myself just staring at the portraits in awe of his workmanship and talent. His paintings have touched my soul and I will be a lifelong customer.

Here is your feedback:
I am very happy to have received my painting. Especially from a Ukraine painter during these difficult times. Very well executed. Awesome !!

Fantastic communication and regular updates. Would 100% recommend. The painting was amazing.

So impressed with the painting, it looks exactly like the photo I sent. Communication was great despite the time change. Highly recommend

The words can’t express how stunning and absolutely perfect this portrait is! The level of detail has surpassed any of my expectations. The seller has been very attentive to all my requests and has fulfilled them. I was walked through the whole process, with very timely communications and no question was left unanswered at any time. Aleksandr and his team were extremely professional and courteous conducting business with me.

On top of this, this project was caught in the middle of horrible war. I can’t imagine to what great length Aleksandr had to go to ship the package safely out of war zone. The honesty and bravery of Aleksandr and his team is honourable, they stayed true to their word in the most unprecedented times for them. Endless gratitude and respect to you all!

We had Aleksandr paint a portrait of our 8 year old son over a year ago. The result was incredible and we've enjoyed the painting ever since. The communication was fantastic and everyone was shocked by the high quality. Highly recommend!

Another excellent portrait! I love working with this shop, and Alex is very responsive and helpful. Now I’m just planning the next one to buy!! ❤️

This painting turned out absolutely gorgeous!! Shipping did take forever, thanks to Russia’s attack, but the seller kept us updated the whole time and shipped it express when he was able! It was definitely worth the wait!

The painting we received was perfect. Kate is very detail oriented and worked with us for months to create exactly what we had envisioned. She even used additional photographs that we sent her to ensure that every family member appeared exactly as we desired, down to very fine details. We recommend highly and without reservation - the painting that we received is stunning, and we are so pleased. We look forward to ordering many more pieces such as this one with Kate. We strongly recommend ordering with her!!

Kate is an extremely talented artist and we couldn’t be happier with our painting. She was very friendly to talk to, fast with shipping and packed the painting well. Given that her homeland and country was facing invasion from a terrible enemy at the time, I just cannot fathom how she could still paint so beautifully and deliver on time. This is really a testament to her strength, character and integrity. Our hearts and hopes are with you Kate. GO UKRAINE !
