Received a marketing call from this company on my home phone.
Now I've had this phone number for over 3 years and it is registered with the TPS so as not to receive unsolicited marketing calls. At some point in the past this phone number has been owned by someone else as on a number of occasions I have received calls asking for a person with a different surname to myself. This is who this company that clearly doesn't care about the law called for.
Firstly this company clearly does not do basic checks of the TPS that it is legally required to do before making its marketing calls.
Secondly it clearly does not do checks to ensure data is recent, up to date and that it has the correct and necessary permissions to make unsolicited marketing calls.
When I tried to ask them more about this they blamed whoever had provided them with the data and then they put the phone down on me. Is this really the actions of a professional company. I think not.
Why would anyone in their right minds use a company for anything important that doesn't comply with the law, doesn't carry out basic checks and whose response to getting asked questions about this is to put the phone down.

We set up a Family Trust with Gary in 2017 after being recommended by a family member. We have found since then if we have needed any advice re. This is very much a grey area . As a family we were expertly guided and any delicate questions answered quickly and precisely with succinct answers .

Setting up a family trust had been playing on my mind for some years. I wanted to ensure my home would enable my Sons to purchase a house of their own should my husband & i die. There are so many complications if one partner dies young. Santurary being local to me were extremely approachable & down to earth. Gary who came to my home to discuss the trust is so knowledgeable & has been in this profession for over 20years. He took his time to explain everything, answered every question thoroughly. All the staff in the office are knowledgeable & so helpful. My trust will be reviewed annually with them so it’s always up to date & correct should circumstances change.

Some years back my grandparents unfortunately had fallen ill and the family agreed that a care home would be best for them and my grandmother agreed.
One thing we didn't know was that because they had savings over £23,500 the Local Authorities are entitled to use anything about to pay for the Care Fees
Not only that after the savings had all gone the Authorities forced the sale of their home to pay for the continued fees.
It put so much pressure on the family and it wasn't until 9 years later when we had a call from Steve at Sanctuary.
He explained really simply why it happened.
We had no idea that you can stop the Authorities taking our savings in the future event of me or my Wife ever had to go into care
Steve arranged for their Senior Consultant to visit us Mr Archer . ( now it's Gary to us )
Gary put in place a new Will and Lasting Power of attorney
But more importantly he set up a Trust so in the event of future care fees the Authorities can't touch a penny
The Peace of mind for my Wife and I is that we choose where we want to be as in what Care Home because we can add to what the Authorities will contribute.
Its a win win and I advise anyone with savings property or any form of assets over £23,500 to call Sactuary Tax and Trust Services.
