The zoo didn’t evacuate on a hunch, we employees and guests were held in during a threat of public violence. Instead of informing guests and especially employees, the place functioned as normal.
The most wonderful zoo I have ever visited. Animals act happy. Clean. Able and enjoy the presents of the animals enjoying in their habitats. Worth a trip to visit from anywhere!

My absolute favorite place to kill time…
My absolute favorite place to kill time :) It may not be huge but it is a lot of fun and visit it with family many times. Tickets are reasonable too!

Nice zoo
lots if things to see and well-designed exhibits. I like that you can buy and drink beer throughout the zoo, too. If you will be going to the zoo a few times per year and you live in San Diego, get an annual pass to save money.
