Misleading on the website

Misleading on the website. It says on the home page 'flat rate, no charge after 1 hour' . This engineer came at a time when I had specifically said not availble, then popped into the bathrorom and without checingbsaid the toilet is wall hung, cannot access and I have to pay the full amount of £181 as it is a call out charge! Prior to his attendance, I was not asked the necesaary questions to establish what they mean by access to the saniflo unit.Mine had 2 ports of access, as a coustomer I am not likely to know to what they mean by 'access'. They gave me quote of additional £235 to remove the tolilet (not put it back). I had it done by my handyman which took about 15 minutes and these people wanted £235 to do that. The engineer came again, took less than 10 minutes to assess the problem ( for which the charge was £181 )and said It needs a diaphragm replacement ( a small part that cannot be that expensive) and to do that another nearly £300. He said it includes labour contary to the advertisment of 'flat charge'. In total, it cost me nearly £500 for a small part replacement which took the guy less than 45 minutes. ~Even the top leader in this country does not earn this amount per hour of job.
To summarise, be careful with this company, they are very nice to you when they speak to you, but misleading with their web page.
I had made a formal complaint, the response to which I am still waiting.

Andy Salvia, Saniflo Engineer, Cambridgeshire

Andy Salvia, based in Cambridgshire, comes highly recommended by me. I live on a Narrowboat at Hartford Marina and although Andy doesn't normally service Sanimarin Macerators he was prepared to come as I had an unexpected noise which stopped me using the toilet. He used all his skills and the toilet is now working silently and perfectly! Andy never pretended to be a marine toilet engineer but was kind enough to attempt a repair based on his normal Saniflo work. I highly recommend him for his honesty, integrity, his work ethic and his overall very courteous approach to me, a new customer. Andy has now, very kindly, put me on to Saniflo Marine engineers for any future problems, but came at short notice to help me when I asked him to. First class skill and customer service. His company is called AS Pump Solutions and he is listed on the Saniflo contact list for Cambridgeshire under his name, Andy Salvia.

After reading the only 2 reviews on…

After reading the only 2 reviews on here I felt I needed to leave this one. Don’t always believe what you read.
I get quite worried about using people that either aren’t local or aren’t recommened. You guys exceeded my expectations. had what felt like a major issue with our Saniflo system. The shower was full of water, the toilet was not draining and water was starting to come through the ceiling.
I called these guys and they were here within 24 hours and at the time slot they stated.
They did a full service and replaced the parts that were damaged all within an hour.
They made absolutely no mess and left my bathroom clean, smelling great and fully functioning.
I will definitely be using them again.

Didn't even try to fix the problem

Spoke to the company on the phone and explained what sort of macerator I have and the problem with it - they arranged an engineer to come over two days later. So far so good.

Enter the engineer, he knocked on, didn't introduce himself and just wanted showing the problem - civility wasn't a priority. He took a glance at the toilet, asked what the problem was and then looked at the macerator. Didn't touch it, didn't try anything. Just told me it couldn't be repaired because he couldn't get parts for it. He offered to install a Saniflo for £800, which I got the impression was plan A for him. I refused and he left having been in the house for less than five minutes.

The company knew what I had and what I wanted when I called - I feel they've wasted my time and tried to bilk me for the cost of a new unit.

I hope for their sake they don't have the nerve to want a callout fee for that.

Disappointing

We called SanifloEngineers to service our two saniflo's in the house. Pam was quick to respond, polite and helpful. She asked for pictures and told me the engineer would come and service them.
When the sanifo engineers arrived, they found that the sanifo could not be accessed and therefore, they could not be serviced. They left after 10min.
They did, however, charge us their flat minimum fee of £125.
Overall, Pam was very friendly but we are disappointed in having to have paid and not have anything done. You should really check twice about access to the saniflo before calling them out.
