All I want to do is pay the remaining balance on my finance on my credit card. I've already paid most of it via bank transfer. I've tried to do it online but it says to contact customer services. I've now been on hold with them for over an hour to pay the bill. I have a life and this is an unacceptable amount of time to wait when your website won't let me do it myself!

Unfortunately there is not a zero stars option. If you use this company, beware, they do not keep to the agreed contract. I have a car via them and received a penalty charge, which they paid without any ,consultation with me. In the contract it mentions twice, I am unable to appeal because the parking company has the monet and not interested

Currently trying to pay off my car finance and Santander making it very difficult. 2 cards declined, have changed my address to ensure everything matches (the form to do this was ridiculously long compared to other banks), no communication so far as to whether this has been actioned. Can't get through on the phone to ask what needs to be done. My mortgage is currently with Santander and I'll be changing it as soon as possible as not being able to reach customer service is not acceptable.

Limited options compared to other banks, no disagrements but they have stripped away most of their benefits in the last few years and specialized accounts such as graduate accounts etc.

Recently I got a car lease from SCF. because it was a new car it was not in the database when I tried to pay for the Dartford crossing. But I emailed Dartford crossing that I want to pay for the crossing charge. They replied me back that I will get an invoice following which I can pay. Unfortunatley they have sent the invoice ( 5.00 GBP) to SCF because they are the registerd keeper. SCF paid 5 pounds to Dartford crossing but invoiced me extra 60 pounds as an admin fee. I spoke to SCF customer service that charging 60 pounds is a day time robbery. I tried to explain to him that I was not at fault and infact I was ready to pay the dartford charge when I crossed tunnel. Because of the new car which is not in the database I was unable to, and even then I have emailed Dartford authority how to pay the money for my crossing within 24 hrs of crossing. The SCF customer service staff was adamant that as per contract I need to pay admin fee of 60 GBP. And he advised me to speak to Dartford crossing to cancel the the fee. It is so unfortunate that the customer service doesn't have any clue how the toll charge works and he failed to demonstrate any kind of insightfulness. No one in this world will cancel the toll charge. My point of view is that if you (SAF) get the notification, you let me know I will pay straight away. Rather you pay and charging customers ridiculous amount of admin fee. It all happened because they didn’t allow me to pay the toll as the car is registered in SAF name officially and they refused to send the 5 pound toll invoice to me. This is completely ridiculous and they just trying rip us off our hard earned money. I cant come to term with this kind of terms and conditions the SCF have. I never recommend SCF to anyone.

SCF paid a parking ticket, £60, which was issued in error, without consulting me, this meant I could not contest it and they then had the audacity to charge an extra £30 admin fee for the privilege! I could have had it rescinded as I had a booking confirmation as back up but was unable to appeal as they had already paid the company. It would have been no stars if it was possible. Awful company that just want to rob you!

The simple matter of changing my address just can't be done by these people! Would you believe it? They say they had done it, but 2 days later they send correspondence to my old address. So, that shows they had not done what they said they would do.
So, I've taken up the opportunity to write to Michelle Pilsworth there who's head of customer complaints according to Google, will she reply?
I've now Contacted the above now in relation to a complaint I've made to these people. Because they choose to ignore me and not remedy matters as they should.
Ignoring paying customers is the height of disrespect.
So, I feel the head of customer complaints needs informing.
If things are ignored here as well, I'll be taking matters further. They've caused my solicitor to charge me for something which is not my fault. So I feel as though the bill I was sent by my solicitor needs to be passed over to Santander. I've explained my situation to these people time and time and time and time and time again!
This will act as evidence and they have replied to me here. Giving me the brush off won't do!

This company is appalling! We leased a new MG car off them. Problems began 3 months in. We tried to use our legal right to reject the car which was clearly faulty but they said no. Complaints took a huge amount of time to be resolved and missed details out. We finally had to go to the Financial Ombudsman to get the case resolved, he found in our favour but still they are trying to charge us for the car carpet wearing through after 3 months. This will need us to raise another Ombudsman case but these con artists don't care. They seem to think if they fob people off enough they will just give up. Avoid at all costs!!!

I have received support from Mr. Railey Hansen to my satisfaction. The work approach of Mr. Hansen is highly professional and customer-focused. I received on time the information regarding what was required from me and what I had to provide to the Bank, all my questions were answered professionally, required information was provided to me on time, the clarification questions for me from Mr. Hansen were professional and clear so that I could prepare the documents on time. Also what I found important is that I could always contact Mr. Railey Hansen or one of his colleagues in case of any questions. My mother bought a car from a dealership that arranged finance for her via Santander Consumer Finance. The dealer did not make us aware nor did the finance agreement make clear that no one else is allowed to drive the car even if they are insured.
I was pulled whilst borrowing my mother's car by police officers who had to seize the vehicle as I was unable to produce my licence or insurance document (this matter was resolved quickly with no problem)
When going to collect the vehicle from impound we were told the car was in custody of Santander as it was a finance vehicle which again was fine.
Upon contacting Santander they had said that they are terminating the agreement and revoking the vehicle which they will sell at auction and offset the amount against the total finance which we would then have to continue paying until it is cleared.
Alternatively we can pay the amount of the car in full and take the car back.
We opted for the second option as there was no guarantee they would act in our best interest at point of auction.
Terrible experience, as 1 would imagine if your legitimately insured to drive a car you should be allowed to drive it.
