Refused break in payment when our newborn has cancer

Deeply disappointed asked for a break in payment when our newborn was diagnosed cancer we naturally have a ton of invoices we are unable to pay as these are naturally unforeseen and Santander could have helped us we never ever missed a down-payment extremely unpleasant and very very poor customer service.

Not worth using them now we move everything no more Satander ever again.

Their silence to people's feedback says everything

So bad !!!!!!!!

Oh my god… where should I start… really bad consumer service and I mean really bad. It was all set for my loan they said but then nothing happens and when I phone them I was suddenly not in their system. Please pick any other bank then Santander, any other!!!

Avoid!
I signed up for a no binding savings account and transferred some money into it. Days after a red note pops up on the webpage informing me that the bank has given me limited access to the account until I leave updated information, (only the pay in tab is active and I can no longer transfer my money out.) The link to leave the requested information leads to an empty page. I write a message on my account page informing this, no reply. 5 days of the link not working, I call the phone number specifically specified to leaving this information,they can’t update the information due to technical problems.. I choose to end my account with them, hopefully I get my money back.

Limited customer service

Avoid!!
I have been a customer for 2 years with a car lease.
In the beginning I couldn’t login at times due to the poor web mobile application. Their website started working and the problems continued to worsen.
When things needed to be handled, Santander went missing in action for months.
AutoGiro has worked fine for me with all my other monthly payments for insurances, other loans, etc. Santander just doesn’t work and they blame my bank, when Santander is the clear problem.

In short, Santander takes your money and makes things complicated like no other bank, and takes no responsibility.

Worse customer is difficult to find

Worse customer is difficult to find! The worst I ever experience. Impossible to contact their customer service and they don't replay to calls or emails! Never ever again :(

Fidn a better bank !

My experience with Santander has been extremely disappointing, to say the least. Despite explicitly expressing my lack of interest in their insurance scheme, the bank unlawfully deducted fees for it two months in a row. This blatant disregard for customer preferences is both frustrating and unethical.

The customer service at Santander only exacerbated the situation. Their response to my concerns was utterly inadequate. Not only did they fail to address the issue promptly, but they also displayed a shocking level of indifference towards the inconvenience they caused. Their lack of accountability and unwillingness to rectify their mistake left me deeply dissatisfied.

What's even more concerning is the bank's insistence on retaining the unlawfully deducted fees. It's astonishing to witness an institution that takes such a cavalier attitude toward its customers' financial well-being. It's clear that their priorities are misplaced, and they are more concerned with their own gains than with fostering trust and reliability.

Given my experience, I strongly advise anyone considering Santander to exercise caution and explore alternative options. The risk of encountering similar issues and being met with subpar customer service is far too high. It's truly disappointing to see a financial institution operate in such a manner, and I hope others can avoid the frustration and disappointment I've experienced by choosing a more reputable and customer-oriented bank.

In summary, my encounter with Santander has been marked by unauthorized deductions, a lackluster customer service approach, and an alarming unwillingness to rectify their errors. Please save yourself the trouble and avoid Santander at all costs. Your financial peace of mind and overall experience deserve better.

3,5 hours in line to reach customer…

3,5 hours in line to reach customer support, had to hang up as I couldn’t reach them. Second day I’m calling and waiting this long. I hate them already, haven’t even spoken to this shi**y company. This company is one hell of a joke.

I am a customer of Santander Consumer…

I am a customer of Santander Consumer bank Sweden. Just to be very clear on this, in my opinion, 45 minutes and 60 minutes are not acceptable waiting times to be in the queue to speak to customer service. Hope you can understand that.

Avoid this bank, no standards and the poorest customer service ever

I didn’t choose to be a customer but I ended up being one as I bought some stuff with installments from MediaMarket

I returned an item, but Santander bank is still invoicing me for it. I am trying to call the bank but the wait time is TWO AND HALF HOURS!!! It is not even possible to leave your number for them to call you back.

Just avoid this scam
Shame on MediaMarket

I had a car loan from Santander

I had a car loan from Santander. My car was badly damaged in an accident so the insurance company contacted Santander bank and got info about my debt which was 59000 kr at that time.
I made one more payment later on and my debt became 58000.
However the insurance company paid the 59000 and suddenly Santander bank limited my access to my loan's detail.
I called many time to get back this 1000 kr but they didn't help and they didn't even accept to give a detailed statement. What a shame. A big bank stealing 1000 kr.

2 weeks of misinformation

2 weeks of misinformation, bad communication and craziness. Decent customer service but otherwise a complete lack of communication and waste of time. Can not recommend to anyone.

Has changed recently my number again, right
after three days, they are here and want to
present their loans. What a strange bank, uses
harassment as marketing for customers.

I regret my decision to use Santander…

I regret my decision to use Santander to consolidate loans. I was offered their services through Sambla, then gave Santander the list of banks that I would like to consolidate. Instead of calling to clarify any misunderstandings, Santander elected to pay the other loans in any order they chose (instead of the order I entered into their system). Now I am spending 3 weeks trying to unravel this problem. In the beginning there was no responsibility taken by Santander. They would refer me to Sambla, and Sambla would send me back to Santander. When I was finally able to get Santander to acknowledge the mistake (this took about a week), I have had to call back and forth between two other banks to make sure the steps are done and being followed (this has taken 2 weeks, and is still not done). When I have called to make sure that the same mistake won't happen again, I was told that I couldn't be promised anything.

I deeply regret my decision to use this bank.
