After a longer than expected journey from Cardiff, from touch down in Lapland to Departure, the whole experience was amazing. Although this is partly down to the meticulous planning of the whole of the time you are in Lapland, for me it is mainly down to the staff and representatives who meet, greet and accompany you throughout the holiday. They make you feel special. Although we could name people who excelled in making the dream we wished for into the reality it became, it wouldn’t be fair to do so as this is a Team effort and everyone, without exception, added a unique quality to the experience. We really hope you can pass on my wishes and gratitude to everyone who made it such a wonderful time and made me feel special. They are all very special people themselves and deserve a BIG THANK YOU.

We have plenty of "elfies" to remind us of the wonderful experience.

The Magical Experience my kids will keep as their childhood memory, thank you Santa’s Lapland for making this magic real!
Additional thank you to Santa’s Lapland employees, every single one of them were making sure that children are truly indulging into the Magical Experience. Furthermore, Riekonlinna’s hotel staff were incredibly friendly, we wanted to purchase late checkout as we were with very young kids, however, due to the hotel being at full capacity, they still managed to extent our room by one hour free of charge.
Regarding room facilities, they are usual skiing resort type basic rooms, which are clean and warm. All you need in that type of resort.
We have not had a great start of the journey due to our family was not being seated together on the aircraft, which made us quite upset, which resulted in leaving negative review. I highly appreciate that Santa’s Lapland representative came to our room to ensure we are enjoying our experience and arranged for our family being seated together on return flight.

Can highly recommend this company. Everything was very well organised, staff made it fun right from the very start. The hotel (Turini) was lovely and the food was absolutely delicious. Communication regarding transportation was excellent and prompt and all staff extremely helpful. We were 4 adults holidaying in a kids' world and it felt great!

Excellent service from start to finish. There was nothing too much for the staff, so helpful and informative. They really enjoyed their roles and it was apparent in their work. Fantastically coordinated travel and activities.
The Tunturi hotel was faultless. The best travel experience that I have had.

An incredibly magical family holiday. The Santa’s Lapland team were amazing from start to finish. The level of service from the airport, to the hotel, to the experience days, second to none! We left with such special memories and a dusting of magic too! Thank you Santa’s Lapland

Matt and Hannah you are amazing!!! We have just returned from our trip and had the most magical time, whilst searching for Santa I wanted to book a special trip to see the northern lights on the snowmobiles for that evening. I spoke with Hannah and she said carry on with your day and I’ll make it happen, somehow Matt found us to confirm it was booked, Matt how you found us in the middle of search for Santa …. I have no idea, he truly was one of Santa’s amazing helpers. Nothing was too much trouble for anybody and they kept the fun magic and sparkle every corner. We were even given our official elf names.

Place was good. The sales team were poor in dealing with our questions around the mis-selling of the accommodation.

What an amazing experience from start to finish. From being greeted at the airport by elves to being greeted by the Santa's Lapland staff saariselka everything went so smooth. Lapland is such an amazing and beautiful place to visit and is a must if on your bucket list. It was our kids first flight abroad and they loved every minute of it. Everything was well organised and there was plenty to do. Could have just spent another couple of days there. We will definitely be back. It was great having all the outdoor attire included in the package and saved having to buy this and some how try and pack it.santas Lapland is an amazing company keeping in touch right up to departure. Absolutely amazing trip to Lapland. Saariselka is absolutely beautiful. The staff at Santa's Lapland made it a magical experience making sure we had time to see everything and that the little kids were moving and staying warm. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

We throughly enjoyed our trip to Santas Lapland, packed with lots of activities for the kids, need a few layers and feet and hand warmers as it is very cold, the key is to keep moving around, the naughty elves were great and the magical sleigh ride to Santa was fantastic, well worth going for the experience.

Our trip with Santa's Lapland to Saariselkä was excellent.
The day out at the Artic centre was incredibly well planned, with plenty of staff on hand to make sure your experience was safe and fun. I never felt part of a crowd, there was space for everyone to enjoy the events and the staff were brilliant at making sure everyone had a magical time.
The hotel (Riekonlinna) was warm, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were attentive and helpful. This is not a glamorous hotel, it is a practical ski hotel in the artic circle which looks like it was built in the 1990s. There are more luxurious hotels in the resort, but this has an excellent location in the village centre, with a short walk to a supermarket/souvenir shops/bars etc. And very close to the sled run for the kids.
The food was good - I was particularly pleased to find clear food allergy labelling and well trained staff, with plenty of options.
Don't be put off by the hotel being slightly more basic than you would expect for the cost - your money is going into the excellent planning and staffing of the events, which are all part of the package.

We have just returned from a 2 night break with Santas Lapland. We booked the Aurora package and stayed in a glass cabin.

From start to finish this was amazing, the location was perfect, quiet with beautiful views and lots of space for the children to sled about.

Lots of options at breakfast and all food delicious. Bit a huge amount of choice but what you did have was lovely.

All of the activities were brilliantly run, no queuing and free to do what you want when you want, exception to this was the husky ride where you given a time slot.

From speaking to others on the magic package I think in this instance you certainly my get what you pay for, if you can afford the aurora package and save for another year you won't regret it. You go to a sperate activity village, when we were there there were only around 150 people and it never felt busy which was lovely.

Fantastic experience from booking in May 2023 to travelling in Dec 2024. Everything is thought of and very well organised from the moment you arrive at the airport right to the very end. The representatives in resort are brilliant, magical experience.

The whole holiday was very well organised from arrival at the airport ready for departure. The in flight and arrival entertainment kept the children occupied. Transfers and distribution of the cold weather wear was efficient. Our day hunting for Santa was memorable a day we shall never forget both the old and the young such beautiful memories. Definitely recommend Santas Lapland may be an expensive trip but it’s once in a lifetime and this company ensured everything went smoothly. All staff we met were friendly and helpful.

A great company. Everything was well organised from well before departure to landing back home. There are loads of staff on hand at all times and everything is so well organised. A super magical time, we would definitely recommend Santa’s Lapland for your special holiday.

Our family of four had the best time. I felt like a child again and my daughter who was wavering in her belief in Father Christmas had it reignited. We had the most memorable experience as a family that will never be forgotten. It isn’t cheap and I did worry we had spent too much but I don’t regret it in the slightest. It was worth every penny just for the way we all felt in such a beautiful country.

Flight was delayed. Seats are not allocated at the time of booking. Most other companies offers a seat booking option. As a result seating positions are a bit of a LOTTERY especially if you are delayed initially booking in. Food on the flight was limited and not described accurately. A cheese panini was found to be very dry and contained MEAT. Not good. Kids were starving. On arrival at the resort we were met, suited up with cold weather gear then allocated our room. There is NO welcome pack ie bread, a bit of butter jam etc. This would have been most appreciated especially as our flight had been significantly delayed and my grandaughters were very hungry. We had to wait for the evening meal to be served. This was my second time (7 years ago) to this resort and I found the accommodation tired then. We were allocated a room that was almost identical this time and the room quality had deteriorated even more . Furniture was chipped, shower hose was split and metal sugary had sharp edges. The apart had one bedroom with two single beds and a a sofa bed with poorly fitting sheets in the living area. Everything just looked tired. Considering I paid over £6000 for effectively 3 nights I really do not think it was value for money. We also found that evening meals were often only lukewarm. After the days chills I would have expected hot meals.
On a more positive note, the staff in the resort were cheerful and helpful and added to the children’s enjoyment. The search for Santa day was excellent full of anticipation and lots for all to do.
Would I recommend the holiday? I am afraid not based on my flight and accommodation experiences.

Everything was so well organised, staff were helpful, friendly, Accommodation felt like something out of a Christmas movie. everything was perfect.

Excellent and very well organised. The husky ride on the Find Santa day was amazing. Hotel was excellent, food was excellent, room excellent, Santa's Lapland staff all very good. Well worth going.
