If I could give negative 10 stars, I would!
They put me in danger and unsafe conditions - torrential downpours and THUNDERSTORMS and said they would not adjust my schedule. I called their safety line over 30 times!! I asked over and OVER to please adjust my schedule, because I did not feel safe. I hid from the thunderstorm under a church awning, then had to sleep at a bus stop! Then, we found that the bike was broken! They STILL blamed it all on me!! Absolutely HORRIBLE company.

Although many of the issues you mention —such as the weather conditions and the mechanical failure of the bicycle— were unfortunately beyond our control, we genuinely tried to assist you in the most efficient way possible throughout your journey. However, we must note that we encountered significant difficulties in maintaining consistent communication with you, which made it more complex to coordinate the necessary support. It is also important to clarify that the itinerary you had booked included a specific route and accommodations arranged in advance. When you deviated from the planned stages, and did not arrive at the designated lodgings, it became impossible for us to provide alternative accommodation in other towns without additional cost —a service which is not included in the package you purchased. Regarding the financial gesture you mention, it was offered in good faith, as a token of goodwill and not with the intention of dismissing or silencing your opinion. We regret that this was not perceived as such. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us to identify areas for improvement, and we sincerely wish you better experiences in your future travels.

First time client with Santiago ways
First time client with Santiago ways. We just finished our 7 day walk from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela. The daily walking distance was good- thanks to Jorge who did the itinerary considering our health issue. We were satisfied with the lodging arrangements. It was different each day in terms of types and ambiance which added to our experience. All of them except for one albergue where there was a lot of outside noise and no air conditioning were nice. We were especially impressed with Casa Roan hotel and the Hospedería San Martin Pinerio in Santiago de Compostela.
We didn’t have much time to plan the trip ourselves. We’re glad we went with Santiago Ways. From the planning to the luggage transfer detail it was flawless and they were available and responsive throughout the travel and we had peace of mind.
We highly recommend Santiago Ways!

This company was very inflexible and overpriced. I lost a lot of money due to them!!
This company was very inflexible, unhelpful, and borderline incompetent. Certainly, they did not seem to care much. Where to start? They messed up my dates so I had to spend a night in Paris before heading south to start my Camino; For one hotel, they gave the wrong address. (Needless to say, after hiking the Camino, walking up and down a hilly town endlessly looking for your accommodation is annoying.) Then there were the choices of hotels- one a truck stop in a shopping mall that I just I skipped, booking my own (nicer) place at additional cost to me and no refund for unused truck stop, even though I called days ahead to say that it was not acceptable.. The average Sticker price for the rooms they book you is under $60 and Santiago Ways was charging over $120 per day (breakfast and €6 bag transport included) They do not get back to you and you are LOCKED IN to their itinerary. Do not use them, it’s a ripoff. I think it’s a “bulk” business with “custom” service prices.

Seamless experience
My son and I recently completed the Camino Portuguese starting in Baiona Spain. We started planning for the trip about 9 months ago and selected Santiago Ways to help manage our luggage transfer and various needs during our pilgrimage. Santiago Ways provided an awesome experience. During the preparation, they were responsive to my needs and remained communicative throughout. Each day of our pilgrimage, we had no issues whatsoever with our luggage transfer, hotels, or meals. Santiago Ways allowed us to focus on our pilgrimage while they took care of the logistics.

Our small group of 5 adults were very glad we made the decision to partner with Santiago Ways. We chose to pre book our hotels with breakfast & have our luggage moved daily.
Larissa did an outstanding job with our semi-custom itinerary accommodating our needs. We had one night that the hotel said they didn’t have any rooms for us. It was an internal error in the hotels part. After a few phone calls we were taken to a new hotel! Other than that it was a flawless trip!

Amazing experience!
My husband and I completed the Camino Frances beginning at Sarria and agreed, it was an amazing experience! The scenery was fabulous as we walked through gorgeous countryside and small villages. Santiago Ways did a wonderful job organizing our trip. They planned our route with accommodations (very clean) which included luggage transfer. They were also available for questions or concerns during our trek and responded quickly! Highly recommend them!
