I had the privilege of going to one of Sap Plants terrarium workshops this week. Although locating the venue was tricky, Chan ensured she kept an eye out so that everyone could find the room.
The event, itself, had a very warm and pleasant environment. The bunting was fun!

The workshop began with Chan giving a very clear (crystal clear) demonstration so that everyone knew what they had to do. Everything was broken down into very straight forward and accessible steps.

We were given plenty of time to construct a terrarium and Chan was always on hand to give advice, or encouragement. Creativity was encouraged, and tips were easily provided.

Throughout the event, we all had access to the materials we needed. There was no resource that ran out. Chan also brought adorable small figurines we could add to the terrarium for a very good sum.

Chan has crafted a really fantastic workshop. Everything was provided, and after a few simple steps, everyone came away with a terrarium they could be really proud of. They look beautiful and professional, and the guidance was stellar all the way through. It was clear that Chan knows an awful lot, and was able to anticipate any issues we might have, both in the workshop and in the future. I would go again and recommend it to anyone with even a passing interest. Communication before, during and after the workshop was also excellent.

I can't think of a more relaxing and fun way to spend an afternoon than the Sap Plants terrarium workshop - not only did I have a lot of fun creating my first very own terrarium, but I also learned sooo much about terrariums and making sure that it thrives long-term! :)

You didn't need any prior knowledge or bring any tools, which makes the workshop very accessible and Chan was super helpful with any issues/queries that came up.

The workshop teaches you everything you need to know to create more terrariums at home, and Chan was also very kind to offer help via email if we experience any issues with our terrariums in the future. Could not recommend more <3

This workshop was as fun as it was informative. Chan was an excellent host who took the time to help each individual when needed, everything was explained really well and I left confident and proud of what I had made. All materials provided were great quality. I would really recommend this workshop to anyone looking to try something new or explore their interest in plants. The venue for the workshop I attended was Lucy & Yak, it was a lovely place to host and we were able to browse after the workshop at the clothes and use our £5 vouchers that were included with the workshop. Such a brilliant collab!

Bought the terrarium workshop as a gift for my husband and we both loved the experience and love our terrariums. Something that would make it better is if a projector or something similar was used when explaining the process to avoid twisting in seats or missing anything.

Attended a workshop yesterday and really enjoyed it! Everything was explained and support was there whilst making ours, I now have the bug and can’t wait to make more

Chan is lovely, she has really warm, calm energy. We thoroughly enjoyed the class, and would Recommend it to anyone interested in making a terrarium. It was informative and fun. Five stars ⭐️

We attended a sap plants terrarium building workshop on valentine's day. Honestly the best date I've ever been on. Chan was so helpful, kind and patient and the terrariums we made look amazing ❤️

If you're thinking about booking... Do it!

I've always wanted a terrarium so when I got a small bonus at work back in the summer, I decided to ask Chan to make one for me. I love it! Being new to owning a terrarium I was grateful for the Sap Plants card which had detailed placement and care instructions. So far I haven't needed to take the cork out once - any small amount of condensation I've noticed has always cleared naturally. The plants are thriving and I can really recommend this as a way to bring a piece of the outside inside to a small flat, and plant joy to someone who seems congenitally unable to keep house plants alive. On top of this, Chan is a joy to deal with. Highly recommended

I absolutely love SAP plants and have purchased a few different plants from them now! The plants are always excellently packaged and are of excellent quality. They have been well looked after and grow much better than house plants I have bought at garden centres! Can’t wait to buy from SAP again.

I attended a terrarium workshop by Sap Plants. It was a relaxed and informative session which Chan followed up with all an email containing all the information needed to create your own terrarium again at home. I’d definitely recommend it!

Very disappointed in my experience with Sap plants. After spending good money on a terrarium for my husband, it died within a week! Sap plants replaced it and acknowledged that terrariums should last a long time. The replacement died after only a few days, and after following advise from Sap plants nothing changed. Sap plants outright refused to give a refund. What a waste of money. If you are reading this, go elsewhere. There are plenty of other plant shops that will look after you and not hang you out to dry when their plants die immediately.

I attended a terrarium workshop. Chan was friendly, helpful, approachable and a good teacher. I had a lot of fun. I love how my terrarium turned out!

Really lovely treat for any plant lovers who are looking to try something new! I went on the terrarium workshop solo and it was a really warm and welcoming environment. Chan is very skilled and patient and the plants used were very healthy and varied in colour.
Bonus for the fact that maintenance and aftercare is provided with the workshop.

I took the terrarium workshop with Chan and would highly recommend it - she was welcoming, knowledgeable and enthusiastic and clearly explained each step and helped along the way. And I now have a delightful hopefully non-killable plant for my home!

Me and my friend took the terrarium class at nottingham contemporary and it was the most well thought out and delivered houseplant class I could have hoped for! Really enjoyed the whole process and Chan is an absolute delight! High recommend!

The only place you need to go for new plant babies, terrariums or plant care advice (which I definitely need!). Chan is super friendly and knowledgeable. I’m so so happy with my fishbone cactus which - 8 months later - is looking happier and bigger and greener by the day 🌱 Thank you Chan!

SAP have given me the confidence to buy more plants - I used to buy plants and lose so much money because they would always be dead within a month.

SAP have not only have sold me quality plants, but they have given me such good care advice. I’ve been able to keep my
plants alive for over 2 years - which is a big deal for me!
