My London–Karachi flight in July was cancelled/changed, resulting in a 19.5-hour delay. Under UK261, we are entitled to compensation, but despite submitting multiple complaint forms and emails,... See more

lost baggage and no respond
In April, Saudia lost my baggage. Since then, I have contacted them through every possible channel multiple times. Months later, there is still no resolution, no compensation, and no meaningful human response — only silence and automated replies. This level of customer service is unacceptable for any airline, let alone a national carrier. The stress, time, and financial loss caused by their complete lack of responsibility is shocking. I strongly warn other passengers: if something goes wrong, you may be left completely on your own.
SAUDIA AIRLINES Transit Visa Error
Very Disappointing – Transit Visa Error Caused Missed Flight
My family of 7 booked Saudia because of their free 96-hour transit visa. For weeks, the visa application kept showing a technical error, even on the day of our flight. We asked Saudia staff, customer support, and Qatar immigration for help but were passed around with no solution. Because of Saudia’s system issue, we were denied boarding, missed our flight, and lost all our hotel and transfer bookings. We also had to buy an expensive flight home. Extremely frustrating and disappointing. Saudia needs to fix their visa system and take responsibility.
Absolutely disgusting service
Absolutely disgusting service. We had our elderly parents travelling with us. And our flight got cancelled to the next one available which the airline didn’t even inform about the customer service kept changing their statements and were not willing to help the situation or provide further information the staff at the customer service were very unprofessional not knowing what they are doing and seemed to not care about the whole situation. I would definitely not be using this airline again and don’t recommend to anyone!!!
Wrongfully Denied Boarding
Wrongfully Denied Boarding - Avoid This Airline!
I was denied boarding at the gate with a blatant lie. The staff claimed my "ticket was cancelled and refunded," but when I asked for proof, they refused to show me any. They couldn't even tell me the date it was supposedly cancelled.
I am convinced the real reason was that the flight was overbooked. By inventing a fake cancellation, they avoided their legal obligation to compensate me under European law (EU 261/2004). This is a deceptive and dishonest practice.
I am now taking legal action for this violation of my passenger rights. Do not trust this airline—they will lie to their customers to save money.
⭐ 1 Star
⭐ 1 Star – Terrible Service & No Accountability
It has now been an entire year since Saudi Airlines lost my luggage, and the experience since then has been unbelievably frustrating. I’ve sent multiple emails and followed every step required for my claim, yet I still haven’t received any response, update, or resolution.
The complete lack of communication and customer support is shocking for an international airline. Losing luggage is already bad enough, but ignoring customers for months—now a full year—is completely unacceptable.
This has been the worst airline experience I’ve ever had, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before flying with Saudi Airlines.
Insane Extra Baggage Fees
Why does Saudi Airlines charges £153 per bag to check in an extra bag? It’s ridiculous.
Disabled Passengers Beware!
Very rude staff and no support for disabled passengers. Avoid at all costs
Extremely Poor Coordination and Zero Accountability Between Airline and Mytrip
I’m genuinely shocked at how difficult Saudi Air has made a simple confirmed change.
After FOUR calls to both Saudi Air and Mytrip, Saudi Air repeatedly confirmed on a recorded call that my family could be moved to flight SV567 at 11:15am from Dubai, at no extra charge, and that Mytrip only needed to action it. I was also told the entire booking could be cancelled with no penalties if needed.
But when Mytrip contacted Saudi Air, the airline completely contradicted their own statements.
This back-and-forth has been going on for weeks. I’m travelling with two elderly disabled parents and young children. A long unnecessary layover is unreasonable, and Saudi Air’s lack of consistency is causing enormous stress.
If Saudi Air tells passengers one thing on the phone, then blocks it when the agent tries to process it, what confidence can anyone have in their customer service? The lack of accountability is unacceptable, and no loyal customer should be put through this.
Saudi Air seriously needs to improve its communication, internal consistency, and customer care.
Terrible experience!
It took me one and a half months just to get a simple name correction sorted out! The flight food was absolutely horrible — the taste was unbearable. The in-flight entertainment was so outdated that those hours felt like being in hell.
To make things worse, they even blocked the internet while we were just standing on the runway.
I requested a business class upgrade for the return flight and was willing to pay for it, but they refused, citing some “ticket policy.”
What a rubbish service! I always heard Saudi is known for its hospitality, but if this is their version of it, I don’t want any part of it. Never ever flying with them again.
Poor Service
Usually, Saudi Airline staff is very rude. Was traVelling on Saudi Airlines and was hungary for lmost whole day. I requested the onboard staff to hand me one extra container of food but he refused. I've heard Saudi Hospitality a lot but i didnt feel on board though i have travelled many times. At Jeddah Airport, i asked Airline staff to help me add Al Fursan trips. They again were rude and didnt help at all. I never saw a Saudi Airline staff to be polite particularly boarding staff. I believe this issue need to be addressed. I was not even offered anything to break my fast during Ramadhan what worst could I've wished for. I wished to not to right about this but even this would be dishonesty. Last time i commented on their page but apparently it was hid.
Horrible trip
Cabin crew were polite and the food was great, but the flight was unbearably noisy. Several families with young children cried and shouted nonstop, and the crew didn’t manage the situation. The washroom was also poorly maintained, which made the 12-hour trip exhausting. Sadly, I won’t be flying with this airline again.
Worst airline possible
Dear Saudia Customer Relations,
I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the unacceptable experience myself and my group of eight passengers faced while traveling with Saudia Airlines on our return journey from Madinah Airport on 30th October 2025, at approximately 6:30 PM.
Our group had completed Umrah (Alhamdulillah) and were returning to the UK. As per official guidelines, each passenger is entitled to carry one 5-litre bottle of Zamzam water per passport, purchased through the authorized airport vendor. However, when we arrived at the Saudia check-in desk at Madinah, two members of your staff refused to allow us to check in our Zamzam bottles, citing that we had hand luggage — despite this being part of our ticket entitlement.
The staff in question displayed arrogant and disrespectful behavior, and further demanded nearly 900 Saudi Riyals to allow the Zamzam bottles through. This request appeared arbitrary and exploitative, given that other passengers at London Heathrow later confirmed they were allowed to carry their bottles after contesting the same issue.
Such treatment is deeply disappointing, especially after spending significant sums (over £20,000 collectively) in the Kingdom during our pilgrimage. This experience not only tarnished the image of Saudia Airlines but also cast a negative shadow over what should have been a spiritually fulfilling journey.
I request that Saudia:
Investigate the conduct of the two check-in staff at Madinah Airport (30 Oct 2025, ~6:30 PM).
Provide an explanation for the inconsistent enforcement of the Zamzam policy.
Offer appropriate compensation or goodwill gesture for the distress and inconvenience caused.
Clarify Saudia’s official Zamzam allowance policy for future passengers.
For reference, our itinerary included:
Inbound: Virgin Atlantic (to Riyadh)
Domestic Transfer: Saudia Airlines (to Jeddah)
Return: Saudia Airlines (from Madinah to Riyadh, connecting to Virgin Atlantic for London Heathrow)
Please confirm receipt of this complaint and advise on the next steps for investigation.
Kind regards
Absolutely Flight SV117 (5 November 2025, Jeddah) disgraceful experience with…
Absolutely disgraceful experience with Saudia at Jeddah Airport. The customer service was shockingly poor — staff were rude, unhelpful, and completely lacking in professionalism or basic courtesy.
We paid extra to ensure our family could sit together, including a child with a disability, yet Saudia arbitrarily changed the seating configuration and split us all up without warning. When we asked for help, the supervisor at the check-in desk showed zero empathy or effort to fix the issue — just excuses and indifference.
It’s unacceptable for a national airline to treat passengers, especially families with special needs, with such disregard.
Saudia should be ashamed of how poorly their Jeddah ground staff handle customers.
We will never fly Saudia again and strongly advise others to avoid this airline if they expect even basic respect and competence.
Customer service sucks
Customer service sucks. Even 1 star is too much for them. Saudi lost my bag with expensive items in there and just gave me a voucher without asking me while I told them that I would like to receive the refund on my account. From there the nightmare started The voucher I can only use at Saudi Airways.
The international phone number is connecting to anybody. They don’t respond on Emails. They just ignore every way of communications!
Don’t fly with Saudi Airways!!!!
This airline lost my family bag and refused to compensate
This airline lost my family bag since 30/08 and offer 500$ compensation 😂😂😂 it has items valued over 4K to this moments nothing received...everytime we contact them they tell us to send the bag item list ....we sent it over 25 times 😂 We're willing to go to court with these scammers.
Avoid or you'll regret it.
I would have given zero star if I…
I would have given zero star if I could. Saudia Airlines lost my luggage and gave no updates. They hire Cobalt and WeFindItLTD, who never respond. Now they expect me to wait for a problem I didn’t create. On top of that, the hygiene on board was unacceptable, all while they pride themselves on claiming “international standards.” Total incompetence and zero accountability. Avoid at all costs.
Worst airlines ever
Worst airlines ever , special from khi to jeddah, cruel member just chit chat each other's, worst behaviour ever, and complain office give you shit out of it, worst experience, please don't travel with them, totally disrespectful
They even don't deserve 1 star
They even don't deserve 1 star. It was worst experience of my life. Poor food with unprofessional check in staff on jeddah Airport. My suitcase was missing in jeddah to Manchester flight. After so much struggle, i find my suitcase after 4 days and the suitcase was broken. I will not go by Saudi Airline again in my life.
The first time I travelled with Saudia…
The first time I travelled with Saudia Airlines, they exceeded our expectations as a family. Both ground staff and crew were extremely courteous and helpful in every way possible.
عندي شكوى رسمية بخصوص رحلتي التي تم…
@SaudiAirlines
I have an official complaint regarding my flight that was changed without any prior notice!
Because of this, I lost $4,500 😔 in hotel bookings, reservations, and an important personal event — and in the end, I only received 780 SAR as compensation!
This is unfair and does not represent the image of the Saudi national carrier that passengers trust.
I kindly ask you to review my case urgently and contact me directly, because this situation has truly destroyed my confidence in your services. I am sure that the airline’s management and leadership would never accept such treatment of passengers.
