Saul has a lot of knowledge and experience building boards. First off, he communicated very clearly and responds quickly. Trying to figure out the type of board, materials, and size Saul very very helpful. Saul was also very helpful figuring out graphics. Putting it all together he was able to build an amazing looking board that perfectly fits my riding style at a price of a large brand normal board. Extremely great experience. Also a friend of mine had one build 3 years ago and I recently rode it and scrutinized it and it still looks great. So the durability is also there.

Well, what can I say? Saul is a lovely man, and his boards are awesome. The designs and build quality are fantastic, much better than the off-the-shelf boards.
And for me, they ride so well in the waves, and go well in the chop, and loads of pop for jumping
I have had a few now, and they are easily my favorite board of choice. I love my Tarifa carbon

The whole process was exemplary, from advice pre-ordering, over production updates and shipping. Best of all, the board is simply a dream to ride.

For the same price as a production board there is absolutely no reason for not choosing a custom board.

After years the board is perfect, best shape and flex on the market, no more water on the face and amazing pop, during overpowered sesh i can handle a lot oglf power, its like a train on rails, perfect. Thank saul, im going to use saul custom board for the rest of my life

A really FANTASTIC experience.......designing my own board.....and having it executed by the shaper,maker and rider SAUL himself.
It’s quite simply the Best board I’ve ever ridden.....super smooth,light weight,fast turning,and monster upwind with 45mm fins.
I’ll definitely be ordering a second board sometime when I need it.

I bought the pure 2 and humanoid boots package. very very well priced. I designed my own graphics working with Saul who was very helpful answering every question with great knowledge. I got the board of my dreams. it rides exceptionally well. fast smooth with just the right amount of flex. it's playful and responsive. it grips and points up wind very well. the build quality is excellent. better than any of the branded boards I've had from cabrinha, north and switch. I highly recommend Saul to any rider. I will only ever ride Saul custom boards from now on. thanks Saul.

I have been using Saul Custom Boards since i cant remember even, seen all process and progress and fanatically checked all new ideas and technological accomplishment in the final product. SEEN, but was not alowed to participate in making board due to no chance for me to do even 1% of how hard and precise all process is made BY HANDS not to mention what all equimpent is made by himself also.

Contacted Saul and discussed at length what I was after in a board. Bought a Pure 2.0 with custom graphics, which look great. But how does the board ride.......in a word really really well. Haven't spent a huge amount of time on it but it's lightweight, responsive, smooth, great pop and works nicely with boots and straps; I'm very happy!

Great communication, board arrived as promissed and looks great - own design for very reasonable price. Would recommend to all. Richard

Ive had 3 Saul Custom board over the span of 5 years, so i have tested many of his models and seen the progression in quality and innovation first hand (have also had the pleasure to visit the workshops to see the boards coming to life). I currently ride the carbon 2.0 with boots on wake and kite - could not be happier with the quality of it, the best board ive ever ridden!! Anyone who sees it wants to try it and every single time they are blown away by how light it is. I must also mention that this board has seen some hard hits and yet still no sign of any bruise...
Highly recommend, its a pleasure to deal with Saulius and the boards are a piece of art that i have hanging instead of paintings on my wall

Tested the Pure 2.0 in Tarifa in super choppy conditions and all I can tell is I have never ever been riding a board that is so comfy and so fast at the same time.

And here is the story about Saulius while we were in Tarifa. ;) After the very late session near Paloma Island where Saulius was doing incredible high kite-loops some guys approached to ask questions about his board as they probably noticed smth special about it. He explained everything about the board, but did not say anything about the fact that he is actually making these boards himself! I think this tells a lot about the man behind the SaulCustomBoards and the energy and the soul of it. Cheers! ;)
