We purchased a SAUNABOX SmartSteam XL unit from Amazon. Everything looked great, but we realized the tubing was missing. We reached out to SAUNABOX support from their website, and within a few hours they resolved the issue. Since they did not have the tubing, we received a full Sauna at no cost! I am so thankful for their great support.

I purchased a sauna box pulse in December, 2025. Very easy to set up and was great for the first month. Basically used it 4 times a week with no issues, but last week the unit stopped heating. I kept getting an E3 error and when I contacted customer support they offered to replace the remove that is on back order. They didn’t have an estimated time, so I requested the unit to be replaced but was told that the unit itself is on back order also, but is still being sold online.

I’ve own my Saunabox for about 2 years now. Still works as well as the day I purchased it! I just recently ordered several new couplings and the red light wand. The customer service has been very persistent on answering any questions I had for them!

I purchased the Saunabox as a Christmas gift for my husband, and we’ve absolutely loved it ever since. We use it about every other day, and it has become one of our favorite ways to relax.
We’ve both noticed real benefits: our sleep has improved, muscle recovery after the gym feels much faster, and I’ve personally seen a noticeable improvement in my facial skin, especially reduced redness. It’s not just relaxing, it genuinely feels good for our bodies and the red light therapy just makes it all the better.
The unit itself is very easy to use and heats up quickly. Even at level 3 out of 5, it gets impressively hot, which makes each session feel effective without needing to max it out.
I also want to highlight their customer support, which was excellent. They were very responsive and helpful when I had a few questions about their Black Friday sales.
Overall, this has been a fantastic purchase and a great experience from start to finish. We’re so happy with it and would definitely recommend Saunabox to anyone considering an at-home sauna.

Falsely Advertised as "just plug into an outlet" They never tell you that you need a dedicated line. Customer service is terrible. I have been trying to get through for weeks and nothing. Horrible Horrible Horrible. I am now in the process of disputing this charge with my CC because you can not get through to this company.

This Sauna has never worked right. The power unit unpairs from the remote constantly, the LCD screen on the remote is so dim you need to cup it in your hands somehow to view the screen and the temp doesn't seem to work right either. The temp doesn't seem to ever reach what I set it to (between 120-130) They've sent new power unit and remote and the problems continue.

I ordered the Solara Full Spectrum Infrared Sauna from SaunaBox on November 30, 2025 for $3,049.49. The website stated it would ship by December 29, but it did not.
I contacted customer support multiple times (December 25 and December 29) via email and used their website chatbot. I received no human response and was told only that the delay was due to high demand and that tracking would be sent once it shipped.
On January 2, I received a shipping notification, but the tracking link already showed the sauna as “delivered,” despite the fact that I never received it. This is especially concerning since the unit weighs approximately 225 lbs and would normally require a scheduled delivery or direct contact from the carrier—neither of which occurred.
I attempted to resolve this by contacting both the shipping company and SaunaBox through every available channel: email, phone, voicemail, and chatbot. SaunaBox only sent automated responses promising follow-up within 24–72 hours, but no one ever responded. There is no way to reach a live representative.
Because the product was never delivered and the merchant was completely unresponsive, I contacted American Express. After reviewing the details, AMEX issued an immediate credit rather than placing the charge into dispute. From my understanding, this typically occurs only when a merchant shows a pattern of unresolved delivery or service issues.
This experience was extremely concerning for a high-dollar purchase.
Final warning: Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend proceeding with extreme caution before making a purchase from this company—especially for large, expensive items.

I was told the sauna was in stock. That was a lie. They took my money and then didn’t ship for over a month. No updates. No urgency. Just excuses.
I told them clearly I would be out of the country and asked them not to ship. Naturally, they shipped anyway and left an expensive unit sitting on my porch for three weeks. Apparently “common sense” is an optional upgrade.
Trying to reach them was a joke. Emails ignored. Calls unanswered. When I finally reached a human, it was easily the rudest customer service I’ve dealt with in years. Zero accountability. Zero apology. Maximum attitude.
If you like being misled, ignored, and talked down to, SaunaBox is your company. If you value honesty and competence, avoid doing business with these people at all costs.

I purchased a SaunaBox for about $4,000 nearly two months ago. The unit was not installed correctly and has not been usable as delivered. I have requested support multiple times and asked to speak with someone, but I have not received a meaningful response. I have not been able to find a working phone number for customer service. At this point I am seeking a proper fix or refund and have consulted an attorney about next steps. Based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend this company. I am confirmed order #79671

I Absolutely LOVE how easy it is to use my SAUNABOX.Fire it up on level 7 for 10 minutes & then jump in.Also the rechargable SAUNA fan was a Great purchase as it really moves the HOT air around.My remote was broken when I opened up the BOX however customer service was GREAT & sent me a new remote.I would give 10 STARS if it were possible.

DEC.24 - I ordered the smart steam pro with redlight therapy sauna and plunge box pro on Dec.14 for $1109.00 CAD. On Dec.23rd I received a package from saunabox which I had to pay and extra $130.00 for upon delivery. What they sent me was a smart steam xl. With no redlight and no plunge box pro. There are a few things about this that I find frustrating. 1. I paid an extra $130.00 for an item I did not order and will most likely have to pay a fee to send it back. 2. Even if it was the right saunabox, they sent it without the plunge pro which I purchased as a package. This means that if the plunge box does come I will have to pay another $130.00 upon delivery. Why were they not shipped together? 3. Once I manage to get this resolved with customer service I will to pay another $130 when the actual item I purchased arrives and if they ship it without the plunge box like they did with this order I will have to pay another $130.00 once the plunge box is shipped. It is wonderful that they made a real effort to get my item to me before Christmas as advertised on their website. However, sending me the wrong item and half of my purchase really doesn't do me any good. I am truly hoping that the reviews I have been reading about saunabox customer service are false and they correct this error and provide proper compensation for the extra costs that have been and will be accrued due to their error.
DEC.24- not even an hour had passed since I wrote my original review and I received a call from the head of customer service. Not only did he apologize for the mailing error, he expedited a new shipment of my original order and offered me an extremely generous refund to expedite the customs fees I paid for the wrong order and the fees I will have to pay for the new one. And if that wasn't enough, he also offered me a discount on a chiller unit!!! This might be the best customer service I've ever had! My confirmations for the new shipment and refund have already been received. Just outstanding customer service and on Christmas Eve! A huge thank you to Nicolas Zapata. If all goes well my next purchase will most definitely be the solara and ice chiller!

Wow! The whole Sauna Box Solara purchase, delivery, set up and use were great. I use it almost everyday. I am so glad I bought it.
I have owned a sauna box since last year. As a disabled veteran that has had multiple surgeries. And going through rehab. The sauna box is a great tool in the rehab process! Plus during the winner it definitely helps especially on cold days. I needed a replacement chair in ordered fans for this customer. Service was great! Both orders showed up really quickly. I also recently had an issue with the steam container that sits in the sauna itself. When I emailed customer service to explain what was going on, they responded very quickly and sent out a replacement. The quality and durability of the sauna box is amazing! But what makes sauna box even better is the customer service if you ever have an issue. I am a customer for life with this company!!!
Their customer support team was unbelievably fast, thorough, and invaluable. They are a model for others to follow. I'm still kind of stunned by how responsive they were to all my questions. Nice support strategy and good hiring, SaunaBox!
Its a cheap made fabric tent with flimsy heating panels and red-light system that is at best dollar store quality. The site claims 160 degrees but I have not gotten that or even close, 120 is best so far. When customer care was contacted I have been ignored thus far. Their website only allows you one chance per order number to initiate a return. The choices for a return are open box with damage or open box no damage or open box missing parts. Once you pick one it says you are not eligible for a return. There is no starting over after either, once your order number is in thats it no more chances to pick a different option. From my research online all 3 options lead to not eligible statement. Iam now going to my credit card company for a fraud and misrepresentation.

Love the sauna, it has worked like a charm everytime I have used (almost). I have purchased and used a dry sauna from "The PodCompany" and it is not a product I would recommend. SaunaBox's steam sauna has been reliable, consistent, high performance, and easy to manage. I will most certainly be purchasing another one from SaunaBox if the need ever arises. Very pleased with this product and my purchase.
I will say, having worked with a few different customer service departments in this line of "wellness" products (cold plunges, saunas, etc.), getting your money back tends to be quite difficult. SaunaBox is reasonably priced given that context. Still waiting on close to a $800 refund from "The PodCompany" for their sauna. Definitely will never purchase from PodCompany again. SaunaBox, however, has my loyalty as a consumer/customer. Well done.
