Changing Broadband.
I was very impressed with the comparison site, Savely. Claire provided me with all the answers to my questions, she was friendly, helpful & informative. She has enabled me to find another broadband, where I can manage the monthly cost. Thank you very much Claire.
Connection problem
The signing up was not a problem.I had to wait about 2 weeks to get connected.
However the connecton did not work and the engineers werenot wel enough trained to find the connection neded to connect the phone like.
The following day, last Saturday an experinced engineer ame and eventually found and corected the fault

Not quite as I was led to believe
I chose the deal with talk talk and was assured by your rep. It included all calls package in fact it did not include this , I had to pay an extra £7 / month for this.

Accepted offer given, has been an absolute nightmare with Talk Talk, still awaiting a working line / service, they are impossible to deal with, but your company is no better, I tried calling in to see if you could help, but recorded messages basically telling us that unless you are buying, you do not want to know, cannot speak to anyone or leave a message, we have to email you and someone would look at it ASAP, so once you've signed us up, you don't want to know!

I received the box with router and cables. On the change over day I followed the instructions and connected everything. I was unable to receive any Internet connection. I contacted customer services and after about an hour of trying everything that I had been doing an engineer call was arranged for 4 days later. It turned out that the cable provided was faulty and an old cable that I had was able to get a connection. Every single day since, I have had issues with signal dropping off, twice in the one meeting with management and Every day listening to music on my Alexa speaker. Also, when I perform a speed check, I have never recorded 55mbps.

Beat the price, but old contract dropped theirs to retain me. So didn't switch.

In he end I did not switch because my current provider matched the cheaper price offered and kept my boosts, which the new company was without boosts, so not so attractive, they came back at me by giving me 5 months free, but I still didn't transfer, because unlimited calls was more important than the money saved over 5 months. Also I am happy with the quality of broadband speed and coverage within my house. The other company might not have been as good.

A limited snapshot of a large market
Savely only offer a limited snapshot of the broadband market in my area... their search provided just one (limited) option for my postcode - despite having two full-fibre networks available to my doorstep they failed to provide any consideration of what is actually available - instead promoted only one 'unheard of' broadband company... best avoided IMHO...
