This company never finished the contract and left my book unpublished. They claimed to have finished putting the papeerback version on Amazon bookshelf, but only did the ebook. Amazon sent me a list of things to finish before publication which I forwarded to Savvy bookmarketing but they ignored it. Ultimatley, they should have printed the ISB N number on page 2 but never did. You cannot publish a paperback without an ISBN! I took them to court and obtained a CCJ which they have also ignored and not paid, and I discovered that the address provided is apparently not own ed by them, according to the letting agency and apparently does not receive mail. since the Court papers were returned 'undelivered'! I have emailed them several times about these problemsbut reeceived no further rsponseapart from their insitence that the publishing had been done 'multiple times' but after I sent them Amazon's email I received only one further email sayi bg that they would look at the email, but nothning after that. Also, my assigned editor was extremely insulting when emailing and phoning me and the quality of the editing was rubbish! A schoolboy could have done better! Overall, dreadful service!
I have been engaged with them for over 2 years trying to publish my book and they didn't get tired with back and forth messaging and exchange of manuscript which has happened many times. So far so good. I am looking forward to seeing the performance of my book in the market after using their marketing tools.

Their prowess in book marketing helped my book rocket to the top of bestseller lists!
The dedication of Savvy Book Marketing to writers is evident in all that they do.
James Perez was extremely helpful on the chatline - sharing useful information in response to an initial enquiry. Thank you.
Giving Savvy Book Marketing a one-star rating is a gift from God!
They handled my website and should have done a way better job!
Despite their promises, their marketing efforts have yet to sell a single book.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, They should have listed my site and books on Google.
The only aspect I can commend is the cover design, which requires your approval before printing, but that's a small consolation for my overall disappointment.
I would not recommend contracting with Savvy Book Marketing; they are set up to drain you dry!
Thanks to Savvy Book Marketing, my story now captivates reader worldwide!

I cannot give Savvy Book Marketing a better rating than 2 or 2.5. (See the other Similar reviews.)
In February 2023 I paid $2,250.00 approx. AUD for a marketing package. My aim was to have my recent book's paperback version checked, uploaded and marketed to gain some initial sales.
RESULT: After more than nine months, sales have been NIL. Still no result.
The Good:
...The artwork was attractive but the text lacked originality
...Section picture-objects were restructured and adjusted onto the page.
The Bad:
...Their "experts" were unable to understand the Amazon error that required additional page sizing for the picture/objects I had included as partitions to the text: I had to direct them to reduce them to plaques rather than whole pages, to satisfy KDP Amazon.
...several of my questions were not answered
...the project manager was changed three times
...when they eventually uploaded the paperback in its entirety it was done as a separate book instead of being linked to the eBook already listed, so I ended up with two separate unlinked listings. This interferes with the links for purchasers.
... every time they sent the book to me via Basecamp for approval it was in a format whereby all of the Drop Caps were out of whack.
...it was a time consuming and frustrating exercise.
The ugly:
...As above it produced no sales whatsoever.
...Initially, I thought I had linked up with a reliable marketer and publisher in the UK, but it turned out to be an American firm.
...I would not recommend this company to any other author.
I simply can’t believe all the positive reviews on here. I have had a dreadful experience with this company and would earnestly warn others about handing your money over to this company.
Communication
This was extremely poor. I waited 2 months or more on occasions for a response. The system that they use, Basecamp, has a chat feature but receiving a response from someone was nigh on impossible. I am still waiting to hear back from them.
Proofreading
I did not experience any evidence of proofreading whatsoever. There were a couple of punctuation errors that were missed. I had to keep pointing errors out and because the draft copy was designed by a professional graphic designer, they were unable to make any changes to the text as they did not have the software… so I had to keep going back and forth between the graphic designer and this company.
Spacing on the page
Even after they had allegedly set the book up for print, it was not fitted to the page ans it should have been and there were a considerable amount of blank pages. I know this is needed sometimes due to page numbers etc but I wanted them either to take the surplus pages out or let me put some illustrations on the pages. They have not responded to this request so my book sits incomplete. Nobody has had the decency to respond on basecamp or to my emails.
My only option now is to seek legal advice. I did do this earlier in the process and was advised to obtain a copy of the contract -which they have failed to produce. I’m at a total loss.
I’m very disappointed in this company and heartbroken that they have taken my money, left the job incomplete and are now ignoring any correspondence.
If you care about your book and value the blood, sweat and tears that you have put into your work, avoid this company AT ALL COSTS.
I am very happy with my book and thr front cover. I would recommend anyone who wants to out list a book to use this service. Amazon is a great website for selling books..
I wanted to take time to narrate my unfortunate experience with the above named company, in order to help prevent others from falling victim to them like I did.
When I first contacted Anthony Watson about marketing my book, he promised a bestselling author status at the end of my six-month advertising campaign. This had me sold. Then I was contacted by Helen Cooper who was very polite and pleasant about working with me.
The first few weeks seemed promising, as I was able to get through to Helen and had my questions answered satisfactorily. But somewhere down the road, when it came time for the advertising campaign to start, things began to fall apart.
There were missed dates, unanswered telephone calls/emails, made-up records of the work that had been done so far, blame on an invisible marketing team whenever there was a problem with the work that was done. In a nutshell, it started to look very dodgy and unprofessional, very quickly.
Then I asked to see the social media platforms where I was told my book was being advertised. I was told my book was being advertised on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram but after several months of a merry-go-round experience with them showing me proof that my work was being advertised, I finally got sent a Facebook account to which I was made an administrator. That had me hopeful but to my surprise, besides the account being obviously new, it had (still does) only three followers, it was created under AMZ Publishing Company (not Savvy Book Marketing), was created by a John Michael I’ve never had dealings with, and had a “MJ Finn” listed as an author. There was no reference to Savvy Book Marketing, whatsoever. Which got me thinking - is Savvy Book Marketing trying to distance itself from me or does the company not exist at all? I’ve tried to look up both Savvy Book Marketing and AMZ Publishing Company on Facebook - neither of them exist.
I was mortified about my discovery, the waste of time and money and had to speak with Helen Cooper about it and the promise I was made. She once again blamed the invisible marketing team about it and advised that I spoke with Anthony Watson about my concerns.
I spent weeks on end trying to get a hold of Anthony. He was either in a meeting or not in the office whenever I called. He never returned my calls or emails, even though each time I called, I was told a message would be left for him to ring me back. When I finally got a hold of him one evening due to my persistent, he initially claimed that he never got my emails. But when I told him I used the same email address I contacted him on when I made payment for my contract, within seconds, he magically found my emails.
Then he asked that I write another email about my concern, promising to ring me back the following Monday. I had to make time out of my busy schedule to compose another email as per his request. I even sent a second one as a reminder after waiting days on end for his reply, but he never replied back. I tried chasing him up again by telephone, only for me to be told the same thing as usual - ANTHONY IS NOT IN AT THE MOMENT BUT WILL GIVE YOU A RING BACK. I’ve tried him countless times now and have left messages each time for him to ring me back, all to no avail.
I’ve obviously been duped by them. I know they are always on the prowl for unsuspecting victims like me to do the same to. Hence why I’ve taken the time to warn people before they regret it like me.
I can see there are some positive reviews on TrustPilot about this bogus company. But trust me, they are all fake. They are from friends and family members of theirs that they’ve asked to write them a misleading review. It was the same tactic they used with me for my website. They are “Savvy” scammers, hiding in plain sight. AUTHORS BEWARE!!!
I am so glad publishing my second Book with Savvy Book Marketing UK. Conard and his Team are friendly and passionate to explain the detailed process of publishing my Books in Hardcover, Softback, e-Book and Audio-Book. Definitely I recommend Savvy Book Marketing UK.
Either you want to write a book for family and friends only, or if you want to publish a book along with a message to the world, I highly recommend SavvyBookMarketing. They have assisted me with both publishing and marketing in a surprising way, always willing to listen to my wishes, hence, my book dreams have come true. I can now leave my painful past behind me to help others instead - people all over the world. / Eva Traff

My initial project intention was to create a brief story for my grandchildren about my family history and give it to them in the form of a three ring binder. I asked Savvy Book Marketing to edit and arrange the text and photos for a better presentation. After their review of my manuscript, they suggested that my story could be better served if I made it available to the public and for me to self publish it. I agreed and they laid it out in a 6" X 9" format with a wonderful looking softcover. I am very satisfied how this book finally developed and am pleased that it is now on the market for others to enjoy.

Would not recommend this place talk about a bloody scam. Some of them do not speak english and to top it all off thanks to other near by businesses they aren’t even based in Liverpool you can’t make them out and they can’t make you out I spent a hell of a lot of savings for a book I never even got finished due to the fact that they thought they knew better “ Oh I think illustrations would be better” just silly things to try and get more and more money out of you. I even tried to get a refund but they stated “ Within our terms and conditions it says we cannot give refunds because we gave you a limited time fee. I started this last year and was working with a Cheryl Ann she was another one who though she knew better, then I was with Helen to be completely honest with you I think it is the same person but with different voices each time Now listen here I demand a full refund paid back if not I will be taking this matter further… Absolutely Disgusting
