While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

You get what you pay for

As one of the low-cost "professional" translation agencies with pricing levels less than half of the standard market rates, we wanted to give Saxica a try.

We had a medical device product sheet translated which was quite technical with several terms and expressions requiring manual translation.

While the quality might be good enough for basic light web content, we discovered several mistakes and had to re-do the whole translation to make sure we did not take any risks vs. customer liability.

For translations like official documents, legal documents and customer product sheets we will definitely not take the risk of using the translation services of Saxica again.

In the end, you get what you pay for.

Reply from Saxica

Hi Axel, I'm sorry to hear that you weren't fully satisfied with our service. At Saxica, we truly care about our high quality, which the vast majority of our clients get to experience and, as a result, come back to us time and time again. We're really more than just a simple agency - we are linguists who love what we do.

Unfortunately, as I don't know which project this is relating to, I can't comment in detail, but as a standard part of our service, we offer *unlimited* revisions. If we had heard from you that some parts of the translation seemed off then we would have gotten right to work in using your feedback to improve or change the result to meet your expectations. As we were not notified, I cannot even verify whether or not there were indeed any errors in the text. In future, please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions about the text - translation is an art and can be highly subjective, no different than when you need a logo designing, for example. Edits are often made after delivery and terminology can be changed to suit the required purpose. I hope that you choose to work with us again in future, as 99.9% of feedback we receive is shining and highly positive.

Thanks a lot for choosing Saxica,

- George Ferguson
