We have been using Saxoprint for many years now. They are, quite simply, the best. Very low cost, lightning turnaround, superb customer service. Brilliant. Wouldn't use anyone else.

tolerance

eventhough your artwork has a white background and correct, they have excuse 2 mm tolerance folding and cutting for your job. They don't bother to correct artwork ( not even want to slide 2mm to right ). And they offer funny discount. so I wish you luck for your order.

We are really sorry you are not satisfied. We would like to explain that your case has been checked thoroughly by our complaints department and that your file was printed as provided. Certain tolerances need to be considered with the offset printing process, which are stated in our artwork guide. We would also like to point out that we generally do not offer graphic services, which means are not changing designs such as: moving or replacing text or pictures. Thank you very much for accepting our goodwill voucher.

Very clunky and difficult ordering process; waste of time

Very clunky ordering process; not user-friendly at all!

Tried to place a large order of greetings cards through their website - it all worked out OK until I came to place the actual order... Little advice was given regarding the upload of images (e.g. size template; how many images to include...) - so I uploaded four images for a four-sided greetings card, only to be told hours later that I had given too many images. I then sorted the problem and uploaded just two images, and opted to pay extra for a PDF proof based on the assumption that if the proof is unsatisfactory or has problems the images can be altered. This was not the case - new images could not be uploaded and uploaded images could not be changed. Even to cancel the order and start all over again would incur a £12 cancellation fee.

What's more, there is obvious false advertising regarding the pricing. I saw an advert stating that one could purchase 1000 A6 cards (4-sided 300gsm silk in full colour) for £48.65 - and so when I put in those specifications on the website the price came to around £70 - and it wasn't an issue of adding tax. I emailed them about it and DAYS later received a response stating that I should place my order for the higher price and then email them and the discount would be applied. This did not happen and was not the case. In a word - ugh. If you can't afford endless hours of frustration and broken promises, I'd suggest you avoid this company even though they appear to be the cheapest option for bulk greetings card orders!

Very disappointed

Very disappointed! Received a batch of business cards and the print quality is so poor we cannot use them at all. We have now ordered from another company. I gave two stars only because we have been mostly happy with the service in the past. However, having now received the business from cards the other company, Saxo Print quality is poor and cannot even be compared.

We've used Saxoprint before

We've used Saxoprint before, and generally quality and service are very good - pricing, too. When quoting one of these jobs - for format 'DL small' folded leaflets - the website didn't work properly, with the price/weight panel not responding to changes in quantity. It worked fine on the other job, though. Also, when going back to check details, sometimes address & job references disappear or change.... Read everything before clicking 'pay'!

Please do not order from Saxoprint

Please do not order from Saxoprint. I would have given them 0 Star. By far the worst customer service and printing quality I have ever witness. We received 500 copies of new brochures in bad quality and they refused to discuss over the phone. Basically made us feel like we were lying to get more prints free. Then I told them I can't use them, they offered 20% on my next order. What. Then I refused, they asked to return items with no coordination help. Cheap but we know why. Please don't order from them. Very bad company and impersonal.

Decent quality, reasonable price, shocking service

Quality of finished product was good and price was great, but customer service is abysmal. Paid a premium for express delivery of 8 orders at same time, of which one arrived on time, three arrived three days late and the remainder arrived four days late.

On querying this, I was advised that it was due to a "high number of orders and processing an excessive volume" and an "unforeseen level of staff sickness".

Unfortunately, it it not possible to advise of delays before they happen (by amending delivery promises online) or even when the delay is known. In fact, it seems that some orders queue jump as Saxoprint informed me that orders can "start off on schedule but due to a sudden unforeseen influx they can unfortunately fall behind schedule which was the case for your orders".

Helpfully - and after the delays mentioned - I was advised to "add an extra day to the turnaround time as a precautionary measure for future reference". Had I done so, it means half my order would only have been three days late instead of four.

Just goes to show you do only get what you pay for.

Ordered some pads as giveaways for …

Ordered some pads as giveaways for exhibition, paid extra for express delivery, never arrived, poor communication, this is a company in freefall at the moment.
Also you cannot trust their 'Etrusted shops' rating, the only way to leave a review is by emailing their customer services and they post it on there, so they can pick and choose. Some of the positive reviews on here are also a bit suspect??
Will not use again under any circumstances and would advise anyone else not to bother if it is time critical.

Pathetic Service

Placed two orders (same product different quantities) for delivery.
One lot arrived as they advertised. Emailed to find out where other was, no response. Following day rang to find out where the items were, only be told should arrive Monday (today is Friday).
Will not use again, not to be trusted. ZERO customer service!!

Paid extra for 48 hour delivery

Paid extra for 48 hour delivery, when it the order came late they refused to pay me back for delivery offering a voucher instead. The first voucher the offered was less than the extra cost for delivery.

Never using them again so voucher is useless.

Very disappointed!

Very disappointed with the way that I was dealt with by Saxo Print.
I have ordered a number of brochures with this company and I have always been happy with the print quality and service received.

Unfortunately the last batch of brochures I ordered were delayed with absolutely no notification sent to me or any kind of indication that they were going to be late on the website, I had to call in on the day they were meant to arrive! Further to this the finished production quality was not up to their usual standard.

Due to the delay the brochures were not going to be received by my client on time so I had no choice but to order a batch of brochures with another company at short notice and pay a premium for Saturday delivery. I am now out of pocket because of the delay and further out of pocket because of the increased cost of premium delivery I had to pay due to the lack of notification from Saxo Print.

When speaking to customer services they were very dismissive of the whole ordeal, they initially offered a 25% print credit for my next order which hardly covered the additional expense I have incurred, on further complaint this was raised and capped at 35%. Hardly a great gesture seeing as they’ll be getting that back on the next job anyway!

Overall the quality of print is good but the customer service definitely needs some work...

AVOID THIS COMPANY

AVOID THIS COMPANY. I ordered 250 A5 flyers.from Saxoprint who said they were having problems with our artwork; which they rejected 'twice' on the grounds of incorrect size. (I had previously submitted the same artwork to both Vistaprint and Instant Print who accepted and supplied the same order without any problems. I requested a refund.

Regarding Refund. I was told that SAXOPRINT would send me a Refund Form. After four hours had passed with no sign of of the form. I phoned SAXOPRINT again to send me the refund form.which they sent me with reluctance.

No wonder . Their Refund Form was 'so' complicated to fill in , I had to contact their office for advice- only to be told that they would only refund me after two weeks!!!!!! this was for 'my' money which they were holding.

I reported this disgraceful matter to MBNA; who informed me that SAXOPRINT could easily refund me the money through MBNA immediately. if they wanted to

However SAXOPRINT refused to do so. I have now reported the whole incident to MBNA who have placed SAXOPRINT on a list of 'questionable' companies who hold thier customers' money unnecessarily without justification.
After further complaints, Saxoprint has said that the refund will be paid into my account within five days. I have asked them to inform me when it is in my account. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Second review

I submitted a very unfavourable one star review of Saxoprint yesterday, but this morning Daniel rang me from Saxoprint. Following our conversation I have updated my review. I complained of dismissive rude treatment from their staff, though I accepted that I had made a mistake in submitting one of my items of artwork. I am happy with the response from Saxoprint and wish to update my comments. The quality of two of the items I ordered was very good, which I noted in my previous review. I will certainly consider booking them next year for our jobs - especially as I hope I now know how to go about it! I have given them four stars rather than five because of the lack of advice that is available from their call centre for people such as myself.

Good pricing, great product customer service needs work.

It's a bit of hit and miss with Saxo, when they are good they are great [five stars for value] when they are bad they pretty much make you not want to use them again.
First of all the prices are very good, paying not too much for a finished product of high quality. I've been very pleased with the final results and as long as you know your way around printing and formats you'll have no issues. You will have issues if you know your way around printing and formats and you dare to question them.
I requested a PDF proof of my artwork, as paying for a hard copy worked out almost the same cost as the job itself. The PDF proof cost was cheap but they definitely made a point of supplying a completely useless file. The PDF was literally generated in a matter of seconds probably by saving as the lowest res PDF you can imagine. Subsequently the file was completely useless - everything was blurred to the point of nothing. I basically could have done this by exporting from my own software. When I asked them I was met with the demon of all receptionists who basically told me that they had never had any complaints, and that they were 'obviously" going to send a lo-res file. I then find myself in argument with this woman attempting to tell me the about desktop publishing and printing and literally talking to me like I was idiot.
In summary - Don't pay for the PDF proofs as they useless. Prices and product good - customer service, rude, offensive and leaves a lot to be desired.
