I had an issue with a payment for a recent order for my business for roughly £75. Through fault of my own I've managed to pay twice. A quick phone call with support, they have managed to identify the... See more

We've used Saxoprint before, and generally quality and service are very good - pricing, too. When quoting one of these jobs - for format 'DL small' folded leaflets - the website didn't work properly,... See more

We have been using Saxoprint for many years now. They are, quite simply, the best. Very low cost, lightning turnaround, superb customer service. Brilliant. Wouldn't use anyone else.

So many instances of ineptitude that it's hard to believe

In the past, I have had good experiences with Saxoprint, but after this order I won't be using them again. There have been so many instances of utter ineptitude and whilst the customer service team say that they're sorry, it doesn't feel like it's meant. If it was, it would have been resolved in the first place, not after several more failings.

As I write this review, my order is still unfinished and will be coming up to 2 months from initial order to potential completion date. I advise that anyone considering Saxoprint for the price point they offer, considers how much their time and energy is worth. Mine is worth so much more than was saved by choosing Saxoprint over their competitors. It's just a good job that I didn't have an important deadline and that some of them arrived in time for the job they're needed for.

------------------------------

The details:
1000 brochures were ordered on November 6th for delivery on November 18th. Only 427 arrived, some had been lost in transit, some had been repackaged by DPD due to the completely inadequate packaging.

As the others had apparently gone missing in transit, a reprint was issued on November 22nd, for delivery on December 3rd.
I had to chase this order up on numerous occasions and eventually was told that the order had been sent to the wrong customer.
It was then on December 13th that 461 (of the 600 I had been promised) copies arrived, giving me a total of 888 of the 1000 ordered.

On December 16th I was offered a refund for the missing copies. Whilst I would like a partial refund to reflect the time wasted and the missed deadline, I still wanted the order completing and made this clear. 4 days later, December 20th, I received an artwork request email, which suggests to me that they had deleted the original artwork, meaning I need to waste even more time reuploading it.

The initial claim for delivery of this latest reprint for the missing copies was December 30th. Overnight this changed to January 6th... another week lost! I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever have this order completed and how much more time I'll lose ringing/emailing their customer service team.

Avoid this company...

As a reseller I ordered stickers for my client 2 months ago. My client wants to get it on Friday because she went an event next day. I asked the delivey for Thursday directly to my client's address just in case.

She told me on Friday afternoon she didn't get anything. I phoned Saxo Print but nobody answered then I sent an email but nothing happened until Monday. They emailed me if my product delivered that day. It means on Monday instead of Thursday.

Next day I sent a complaint via email to Tim Webster who is the Head of International Sales. I told him that I would like to be their partner but I need to know if they confirme Thursday as delivery day then my client get the product on that day and not a few days later.
...but no answer has come.

After being a happy customer for many…

After being a happy customer for many years the last two jobs have been disappointing - don't get me wrong the printing is great but late delivery and packaging issues (DHL and I had to repack very damaged and flimsy boxes) have cost me time and money to fix. Saxoprint's hardline customer services response was to refund the express delivery portion of the invoice, but nada in response to the damage and time spent by me fixing the issue other than to say they will be reviewing how they can improve. Good for them, but I'm not subsidising their delivery 'improvements'. Usual story, client-on-a-deadline unimpressed by my choices of printer but happily all smoothed over now. However, in this competitive world, no freelancer can afford to risk this situation – there are other good cost-effective online print solutions other than Saxoprint whose print has always been good, but in my opinion now cutting corners on packaging and delivery, backed up with unsympathetic 'by-the-book' customer services - too risky and unprofessional for my liking.

Customer service poor and unable to resolve the artwork issue

Having been a previous customer at the outset of starting the new order I gave Saxoprint a good review as in the past they performed well
This time I have ordered exactly the same as the last two orders however they were incapable of accepting the artwork even though apart from text it has not changed !
Their service department were fairly unhelpful and it beggars beleif that they were unable to resolve the order.
I will find an alternative supplier as life cannot be this hard
Sincerely

Really disappointed with Saxoprint

Really disappointed with Saxoprint, I placed an order for 10,000 double sided flyers and paid via their prepayment option, provided them with proof of payment and still a week later it is showing as awaiting payment? I've chased them several times throughout the week and they have said there is nothing they can do until their accountants update them to say payment has gone through. We needed these flyers urgently and have now missed our deadline. Will never be placing our trust in Saxorpint again.

Technical requirements for artwork are vague

Technical requirements for artwork are not complete and lead to delays due to rejected artwork. The templates (for AI, etc) are very basic and the technical instructions are not complete. UV 3D printing requires a specific format to Saxoprint, but they are unwilling to provide a template that will solve any of the niggly issues. Otherwise, the service works well for simple print runs. Anything more, You have to take a 'try and error' approach with support staff, which is fine if you don't have timescales.

Worst Customer Support AVOID!!!!!

This company is nothing but horrific! Their customer service is nothing but a joke and make things up as they go along.

They completely messed my order up causing significant delays as we had to get more re printed elsewhere and in the process offered to re-print part of my order which I never got!!!!!!

They lied and ignored my emails even when asking to speak to someone in complaints! If you call they tell you to email and then ignore that! I have since found a way better company who finished the job these cowboys started!

---- onlineprinters.co.uk -----

this company was way better, I recommend anyone but saxoprint! Will never be using this company again, if I had known you would have dragged this out past 6 months I would have gone back to my bank! :(

Update - Beware before dealing with Saxoprint

Update!!! 15th Nov - After seeing this review and the video I put up on youtube, (of which there's more to come), Saxoprint contacted me within 24 hours. They assumed an offer of half the cost of my order would bring an end to this but they haven't bargained for how resolute I am to get a full refund and for fair recompense for the calls and time I've taken out for over a year. That matters less to me now than the main goal of continuing to let others know the risks of dealing with them so, avoid using Saxoprint at all costs.

Original post (14th Nov)
Firstly, how the reviews featured here return a rating for Saxoprint of 'Great' is completely beyond me. For over a year I've been fighting to get my money returned and my complaints were met initially with an offer of a £10 voucher against a figure of £71.99 that I paid out for what their website described as 'bookmarks'.

You would laugh at that description if I were to show you the flimsy pieces of paper they sent me. I had no choice but to go elsewhere to get real quality bookmarks and they cost me almost half the price of the box of garbage Saxoprint sent me. (Well done Solopress - my next review and highly recommended).

Saxoprint are an outfit that appears, for all intents and purposes to be UK based with a UK conact number but they operate out of Germany. I'm not sure if that allows them greater protection against consumer complaints but my next step in a fight I won't give up, is to approach the UK European Consumer Centre.

After a year of being ignored I made a video and wish I was able to link to it here so that others can use my experience and see the tat Saxoprint sent me as a lesson to steer clear of this untrustworthy outfit.
