SB7 avoid.

Avoid
i was downloading a BT app to my phone when a request appeared for me to enter the given 4 digits, which i did.
Seems this SB7 scam had piggy backed onto the download process and when i entered these numbers i had inadvertently signed up for SB7, not the BT app. Wow, how can this happen ???

Trickery saying that I had won a £500…

Trickery saying that I had won a £500 voucher to spend on groceries or gadgets. I followed link through and then they tried to make me click on an agreement for fast payments from my pay pal account. YES I guess it would be fast straight into there account, DON'T BE SCAMMED!

Fraudulent activity from the company.

As with most on here, I was checking statements for my partner as he has been in hospital since June and there is no way he could have signed up for this as he does not have the capabitity to do so. Have cancelled further payments and I will be requesting a refund.

Same as a lot of people on here I was…

Same as a lot of people on here I was checking my bank statement and noticed the payment of £4:50 to this client, checking back there were several payments to the same and a regular weekly payment set up to them, cancelled any more payments now goingvthrough PayPal to investigate the matter luckily enough therevwas only a few payments made, really peed off this has happened, and even more now I see they have scammed quite a few, is there any way we could band together and get PayPal to sort this out and refund and compensate for their failure this to have happened to so many people, and still happening now even though they must know about this company's reputation 🤬

This is wrong

This is really unfair to people who don't realise a weekly payment is coming out.
To stop this sign into PayPal, go to payments, then automatic payments, click on manage automatic payments, find SB7 mobile, or whichever automatic payment you wish to cancel. Itll give you the option to cancel or to keep the payment, click cancel payment and you're done. Good luck everyone xx

This is a very annoying and a bad way…

This is a very annoying and a bad way of doing business. Collecting money from clients without their consent is bad and legal action needs to be taken.
I had an sent a debit notice and my mind was blank on how and when I did such a transaction that requires constant £4.50 debit. I paid for the first one and asked PayPal to cancel the transaction of which I was told to mail the company which I did but nothing was done so I stop putting money in my PayPal account and am planning to leave PayPal since they can’t do anything.
Moreover, these guys still send me email that I am owing them and it keeps increasing.
The question is “ how will I owe someone for something I did not use or do not know about?
This is Scam and PayPal needs to look into it or they will start loosing customers.
Thanks

Fraudsters

Fraudsters. Was on a freebies and paid surveys site to look at a little extra pocket money, somehow one of the supposed free offers or rewards transferred me to paypal where i was asked to confirm my account details - i thought it was to receive survey completion rewards but no, surreptitiously signed up to a £4.50 per month subscription for what i don't know, was never mentioned anywhere. See the fraudulent part is that when you're confirming your paypal account what it really does is grants authority for a company to set up a direct debit - at any amount.

It was only through getting a paypal email saying I'd set up a payment that i knew I'd been had.

Stay the fcuk away from these crooks

Disgusting

I'm adding my 2 pence worth here too. I've been charged 4.50 a week for over 2 years and it escaped my notice! When I contacted them I was told to talk to PayPal. PayPal have been no help and determined that there was no fraudulent activity!!!!! I'm back to talking to SB7. How are companies like this allowed to operate despite these reviews. I don't even know how I supposedly "subscribed". Apparently it was for some competition website. Which is a load of rubbish as I don't subscribe to competition websites especially if you have to pay! The problem is that there is no point warning people away from this company since you don't know anything about them until you're in our situation!!! Absolutely disgusting.

Disgusting!!

Disgusting!!! I am on a free stuff website and chose this outfit to claim my free gift and after filling in some details before I knew it I had set up a weekly payment to leave my pay pal account of £4.95 which was not explained at any time, luckily I noticed it and cancelled with PayPal immediately!!! Should not be allowed
