They completely messed up my federal. I wouldn't take my dead dog to them.

What a scam this bank is. They claim that my approved direct deposit from the IRS seemed suspicious while charging me over $300.Now they claim they are sending it back to the IRS and could take up to 90 days for them to receive it. What a clown show this year tax refund has turned into. I will never use TurboTax or any other company that USES Sbtpg. Lesson learned as I have still not received my funds yet.

Holds tax refunds until the very last minute, for absolutely no reason. Showing as funded for a week now, but clearly holding until the DDD to earn interest. SO beyond rediculous and frustrating.

Absolutely ridiculous! Paying all these fees for early deposit for it to cancel. Even if your accounts says funded, they still haven’t sent it to your personal account. They only trying to build interest off your money

If you are submitting your taxes, do not utilize this firm. I'm not going to use them ever again. I'm still awaiting my refund, which was issued to them last week after they deducted their fees they still haven't send me a tracking number or refund to my bank . People, pay attention. You will be required to pay a fee the next year when you file your taxes, or whenever you use Turbo Tax or any other online program. Make sure Don't use Green dot or the Santa Barbara group isn't on the form . I even sent an email to the company's president, CEO, and executive, hoping that this would be beneficial. I didn't get an answer or a refund.

Don't not ever use this company for your taxes. They hold on to it as long as legally possible to make interest of the money they hold.

They are holding our money to gain interest for themselves! There is no reason for them to hold our money. We should be able to do something about this but they make sure to cover themselves and their fraud.

I'm super angry. I used turbo for 5 years they charged me this year. And now I HAVE TO WAIT FOR THIS BANK TO RELEASE MY FUNDS AFTER IT ALREADY SAYS FUNDED..‼️‼️ Like it's been SEVERAL DAYS already this makes no Sense‼️‼️. I will never EVER IN MY LIFE FILE MY Taxes WITH ANY COMPANY THAT BANKS WITH THIS PROVIDER... ‼️‼️ this should be ILLEGAL. I hope people catch on and RUN THIS PLACE OUT OF BUSINESS.

First time ever my advance was very low and everything has been same each year. I got email stating they do not know why my refund advance loan was very low nor anyone I can speak to about this. The amounts are insulting and my tax preparer was probably mislead by them. I wish I could post screenshots but no option too do so. Will NOT be using next year PERIOD

I highly recommend that you DO NOT do business with this company!!! The fast cash advance on your tax return is insulting!!! I will not ever do business with them again! Nor will I use the tax prepare company C&J again!!! A complete waste of time and money!!!

Worst company in U. S. History. They get your income tax refund and hold on to it. Lie and say they have mailed it off and after 10 days they say you can cancel it and they will reissue another check. The agent will say they can’t control the post office once it leaves the bank. What a joke! Guess what the longer your money sits in their bank it draws interest! They are a scam and rely on customers to do the exact scenario I just described. It’s happening to me right now! Check mailed 10/09 and it is 10/23 10 days and still no check! I suggest you run with anything that has SBTPG attached to it! Turbo tax uses this company……. I suggest you find another platform to use. Scammers

Boycott this scam! Avoid them at all costs. If you use TurboTax do not pay your filing fees from your refund because this organization will hold your money hostage.

I never write reviews, but for this situation I feel it's more than warranted. I have been filing my own taxes for 10 years and have taken the fees out of my return every year with no issue. I submitted my taxes to the IRS in January 2024, it was accepted early February, and direct deposited February 14th. For whatever reason SBTPG miscoded the direct deposit which caused it to be rejected by my bank and instead of processing a paper check had the funds" sent back to the IRS" February 23rd. It is now August and I have yet to receive a paper check, any answer as to why or what happened, and no resolution after the 100+ calls and emails I have sent to both the IRS and SBTPG. This by far has been the WORST situation I have ever been involved in with any company, institution, or entity as it has put my family in a horrendous situation. I was laid off in October and have been unable to find employment, forced to move cities, and still fighting to get my money. Both the IRS and SBTPG are at fault and if I had the means to I would sue.

I have used turbo text for the last ten years. I have never had a problem but this year.I updated my banking information and mailing address.Because I had had fraud on my account. I filed my return electronically and I elected to have the fees taken out of my irs return. Unknowingly using s b t p g. Somehow or another even though I updated on into it all of my old information went on my return so.SBT PG sent my return into the wrong bank and account.Then they mailed the check to a convenience store Even though the Irs and turbotext had the proper information on where to send it. I did my taxes at the beginning of February. It is now the end of May.I still have not received my refund. Santa barbara tax product group has stolen my return.

Terrible company siphoning off taxpayers money for undiclosed fees. Do not use "E-file" because they are in bed with them. Charge a fee of $40 for nothing after preparing my own taxes, I never heard of them untill they stole from me, but alas, fool me once....
