I've been using Scalable Capitol for about two years now and really like their app and trading options. Can definitely recommend. But since they recently became their own bank they do not offer a Fin... See more

User interface is very good. Prior to opening their own bank sending and withdrawing money got much easier.

Support does never anything. Not even answering emails

They offer an app-first access to your portfolio. Sometimes this doesn't work. Some of your assets might not accessible or tradeable at some point, without a notification. During the transfer from one bank to the other a lot of things went wrong and were messed up. Funny enough the transfer was promptly delayed by 30d and everyone with a little experience in system migration knows why.

Out of nowhere suddenly 15€ are getting taken from my bank account since 4 months. I am using scalable since 2 years. I don’t understand where this is coming from and nobody from scalable neither. So there is no help at all, which is crazy. I will cancel directly my account, since this is the only way I guess to not get charged anymore. Customer service seems to be incapable to fix this.

Nothing special about this broker: Average fees, average benefits. It doesn't offer payment cards or fast free payouts. So it's actually a bit more limited than e.g. TradeRepublic.
Only difference to competitors are the rewards you get for joining. Scalable always advertises watering benefits through promotions, such as inviting friends or cashing in.
However, each of these promotions come with a 4-page terms of service alignment, containing mostly exceptions and special conditions under which you become ineligible for the bonus. It's so many terms, that reading them, let alone follow them, is not worth the money.
I don't understand why a broker such as Scalable feels the need to overcomplicate terms. It hurts the platform's trust. I just migrated all my assets away. If they already overcomplicate simple bonuses, I don't want to know what they might do with my life savings, just because I didn't read their 80 pages of ToS...

They've forced an account transfer and postponed it to the very end of the year, forcing customers to file their taxes during the holiday season.
Customer service answers within 4-5 days
They don't provide any assistance, the instructions are confusing
No way I can recommend it

I dont know...
It seems like a scam.
1. UI is super confusing.
2. They just decided to terminate all business relations with me without any explanations. And what is more concerning - they don't allow me to withdraw my money.
I'm close to initiate legal actions

Official documents are not accepted for account verification. Requests take a very long time to process.

It was quite easy to set up an account with Scalable capital.
The app is also very user friendly.
The fees are clear. I have not had to interact with the support team as I did not face any issue after using the app for 3 years.

Overall, the usage experience is rather good - the design is nice, you can use two-finger touch for calculation changes between two points on the graph.
However, the order interface is made in an inconvenient way: first, you can set the desired amount of money to be spent for an order. On the next screen, you set your limit - say 10% below current price - but it ignores your desired order amount from the previous screen, using only the number of shares calculated at current price, so you have to go back to the previous screen again and adjust the amount again. It would be much more convenient if the limit could be set already on the first screen simultaneously with the order volume, and the order volume AT THE SET LIMIT was visible instantly.
Also, for pending orders, the estimated order amount is not displayed, which is a shame.
Well, for an unlogical reason, the app stopped to withdraw money to my monthly broker plan. Then I asked the support but the service was really bad as every other service in Germany, it took them so long to answer then a human replied who was like a robot and wasn't engaging at all and didn't give me a satisfactory reason, the person seemed as if they copied and paste without taking a look into my concerns.
