I've used this Scanlansarts haberdashery multiple times now, and I’ve been consistently impressed with their service. I heard about the 7 day course on how to start a craft business from a friend and decided it was what I wanted to do. Right from the get go Paula was amazing. She is super encouraging and is very knowledgeable. I onlyever felt supported by Paula. Her skill and passion is clear to see. Zoom meetings were full of everything I needed to know about the basics like what I needed to do , researching products which I hadn't even thought of before. I felt I got more than my monies worth from this 7 day course.
Despite all the help I decided that I wouldn't continue to set up a business. I discussed it with Paula and she didn't make me feel like a failure or a time waster. She supported and helped me see that opening a business isn't for everyone. I would wholeheartedly recommend Scanlan Arts both as a wholesalers and as a provider of high quality courses. Paula knows her business. She is a skilled presenter and her knowledge is second to none.

Excellent service. My order was received within a few days. I had email updates to tell me it was on its way. Product was of good quality and fit for purpose. I have always found the staff really helpful and knowledgable nothing is too much trouble.

I’m starting a new craft venture and Scanlansarts has gone above and beyond in sourcing a new product (for them) for me….a heavy duty stapler. I can only thank Paula and Alan for their constant help and encouragement.

Fabulous company to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble for Paula and Alan. So very helpful. Love the live Friday session here they show you new products. Will give you closeups of products if you need them. Fast delivery service. Never had any issues. I am not a big purchaser but always feel that Paula treats my custom as important are larger buyers.

I'm so glad I found this company. Completely understands the hurdles you have when trying to start a new business. Especially when trying to buy wholesale and other companies want two accounts/references from other companies before they let you buy. Paula the owner totally gets it and has offered me so much help I can't thank her enough.

Awful company. Left a review on Google after the owner was shouting down the phone at me to only then receive a reply saying that 3 other members of staff had problems with me 🤣 I only spoke with 1 person on the phone to arrange my collection who initially said I would have to collect the next day as they were closing but then said I could come now (no issues there), then a lovely old guy in the shop who said a specific person would contact me (not allowed to add names) for a refund as 1 item was not as described (10 meter length marabou trim cut was cut in to multiple lengths) and another item was the incorrect colour. No issues with that guy either and then this specific lady owner who called me refusing a refund saying it would have to be store credit and then became extremely rude and hostile when I stated consumer rights as per UK trading laws and long distance selling. Screaming she had owned her company for 20 years and that I was being rude for stating my consumer rights. After she reluctantly agreed to refund me and stating I would be charged the 20% off for my order and it would be deducted from the refund I said thank you and the we mutually ended the phone call.

The marabou fur also stank like a musky old fish and the Iceland carrier bag was yellow like it had been in a nicotine environment.

Absolutely avoided at all costs. There are many other UK wholesalers who I have had the pleasure to deal with over the years who I still trade with and are much cheaper. Items come like new and aren't dirty or smelly.

Made to edit this year safe the review to change the owners name to anonymous, my review still stands, worst company I've ever delt with in the craft industry.

This place is great. The products are good quality and great prices. I love that there is no minimum order. My order arrived quickly and the customer service is excellent.
