A horrible experience July 2015

If you want to avoid to have your money stolen, be treated rudely and yelled at and be told that "they hate custommmers like you" (Custommers who pay on time and follow their instructions), then dont use this Company.

When we came to pick up the autocamper they were delayed by 2 hours. We waited with patience. The service personnel were very stressed because they were behind schedule and gave us a very quick introduction to the camper as the Company was allready closed for the day. Suddenly they had done a report on the status of the camper showing scratches and errors and just asked us to sign it. As the camper was very used and old (Had done more than 116.000km with different users) we could immediatly see it would take several hours to completly check and document all damage they had missed in this report. The Company employee told us not to worry and trust them and said they knew all the damage on the camper and we would not be charged. As they were behind schedule all personell was leaving and we felt preassured to accept and sign their report with no time to check it under proper conditions (The handover was done inside their garage in the dark) We also asked what we had to do before we handed back the camper like cleaning etc. and we were told not to clean the camper as we paid 100€ on top of the rental for cleaning and service, the Company told us that we should just remember to empty the Toilet Waste.

During our vacation we realized how old and worn the camper was. The steering wheel was not alligned and not stable so driving the camper was very scary and dangerous. We had water leaks in the toiletroom so we got wet feet all the time when using it. The interior in general was full of scratches, leather seats had cracks and things like a divider in a closet was broken and just placed loose and not fixed, Electric system was unstable and we had to restart things like the water and cabin heater several times.

When we returned the camper after our 10days vacation the Company suddenly spend more than one hour going through every single detail on the camper, and they suddenly started accusing us for doing damages in and out that were not our fault. We checked their reports and they were full of mistakes, they had as we feared not included all the original damages on this old camper, and now they wanted us to pay for it. Naturally we refused to pay for other peoples damages and proved that their reports were full of faults, because we found lots more damages not included. Also we told them how their procedures were wrong and that we were asked to just trust them. When we asked to see the reports from previous rentals to show them how wrong their procedures were, they called their General Manager, who came and was very rude and yelled at us in front of other custommers and employees and said that we should just pay, that they hated custommers like us and that we should just leave their grounds immediatly. When we asked for a proffesional treament in this case and to see the old reports and receipts the General Manager just yelled that we should leave and that he did not like us. That they had no more time to discuss this as the next people should have the camper. We felt like we were part of some movie - a very bad one.

3 days later we received a letter where the Company has deducted 622,80€ from our 900€ deposit. We were charged 492,8€ for 2 old scratches they had missed in their reports, 100€ for missing cleaning inside (they had instructed us not to clean inside because this was allready paid, just empty the Toilet Waste which we had done), and 30€ for a cupboard door hinge that was broken because is was not maintained properly. We have still not received the remaining deposit

We got no compensation for: Them being 2 hours late at the handover, Water leaking from the toilet room, and the scary steering making driving not a pleassure and dangerous.

We have involved the Danish Motor Owner association (FDM - similar to German ADAC) to get legal support in this matter to at least get our money back.
