I can't begin to explain how responsive and convenient school lane mortgages were for me. I was recommended by a family friend and would go out of my way to recommend to anyone else I knew. Note: please read the whole review.

Before buying I spoke to a few of my friends and family who all suggested broker and gave me a breakdown of prices I should be expecting, and alternatively gave me the option of organising everything myself and how much I could save.

But for my lack of experience it seemed going with a broker would be worth the small fee. Having confidence that I was ticking the appropriate boxes and that I would have someone to take care of things I wouldn't have even thought about.

From what I had been told about brokers they would give you options for lenders and also arrange a solicitors, and necessary third parties to take surveys.

In terms of lender I was shown my options and who would give me the best deal. From there on out I was asked for prerequisites such as ID and proof of earnings but everything else was facilitated by school lane mortgages. I could ring at any time of the day and ask questions and to be completely honest, be a complete pain to Daniel. Who was always very responsive and very helpful.

When it came to solicitors I was directed to a financially impressive option. The solicitors were very helpful and once again very responsive. They once again took responsibility of all the contact with the estate agents and sellers solicitors and were always there to give advice.

Overall the deal went very well, I've been living in my home for almost 5 months now and can't believe how easy the whole process was through school lane mortgages was.

Financially it was very beneficial and worked out cheaper than every body had suggested a broker would be and cheaper than it would have been if I had done it alone.

I would say from personally experience it really is worth leaving it to someone who knows what they're doing. Which I have a very strong confidence that school lane mortgages do. Its a no-brainer.
