Disappointing service and lack of engagement - Sciencebuddies.co.uk
We were very disappointed with our experience with Sciencebuddies.co.uk for our child's birthday party.
We spent a lot of time organising the party and expected an exciting, energetic and engaging science experience. Sadly, the delivery made by Sciencebuddies did not meet our expectations.
The biggest issue for us was the delivery of the party by the organiser.
She came across as extremely passive, with very little passion, enthusiasm or energy. She struggled to engage and connect with the children, and we felt that the activities were being delivered rather than actively led.
We also felt that the activities could be improved. The instructions could have been clearer, some activities felt too long, and there should have been more variety and faster pacing.
Most importantly, the presenter should be actively interacting with the children throughout rather than simply explaining and moving from one activity to the next.
We are sharing this feedback because we genuinely hope Science Buddies will use it to improve the experience for future families, and that they will take these comments in the constructive spirit in which they are intended.
We chose Sciencebuddies.co.uk because we wanted our child and their friends to have a fantastic and memorable birthday. Unfortunately, that is not how we felt the experience turned out.
