Completely drained a new battery

Left the van for four days - scorpion tracker completely drained the brand new battery and now we have to replace it - wish I never installed this and now want to get rid of it and get our money back

Peace of mind , for sure !

The installer was brilliant

Gaz, the installer did an amazing job in really quick time. The Scorpion Team were super efficient. The tracker and app are superb. It is great to see your car location at all times, what speed it has been driven at, and how well it has been driven. The Scorpion tracker is amazing.

NO TELEPHONE SERVICE FROM THIS COMPANY

As a customer wishing to activate my tracking policy i chose to ring the number provided.
The call was answered by a pre-recorded option menu offering to 'press 1, if a customer' or 'press 2, if a dealer'. I pressed 1. The recording immediately started again giving the same two options and so I pressed 1 again...guess what...the recoding stared again...and so on. I tried pretending to be a dealer and pressed 2 and exactly the same thing happened on multiple occasions.
In short, it appears this one number provided by the company is not staffed.
Clearly this is unacceptable especially as I was trying to buy something!
I fear the time when I actually have to use their services due to a theft or other mishap... what then???
Not everything can be done online and Scorpion must provide a service where the public can SPEAK to someone.

A difficult introduction to the system

Difficulties with subscription to a non functioning tracker to considerable time to resolve at an amicable settlement . Eventually after 3 months the unit was replaced with new. Whilst the final application and installation was good getting there was very hard work requiring multiple calls and many emails. The system appears now to be functioning well and the installer was competent.

Would not recommend if YOU want to know where your car is.

The device was an insurance requirement but when the Privacy function was enabled on the app, intermittently and then permanently the location of my car became unavailable.

When support eventually responded, it was with a dismissive "yeah, this can happen in privacy mode but don't worry, we can still track your car" which I naturally questioned (this is like Microsoft's excuse of "oh, it's a feature"), and all went silent.

To be clear, this is like buying an oven and the display not working and being told "don't worry, your food will still be cooking". Really? How do I know it's cooking or cooked correctly?

{EDIT} This is not an answer below
a) Why does it work intermittently?
b) Privacy is meant to make it private from everyone else and NOT the owner.

Privacy Mode is designed to give you the flexibility to enable/disable location and journey logging. The tracker would still alert our 24/7 Monitoring Team should it detect suspicious activity.

If you would like to view the vehicle location or journey data, simply turn Privacy Mode off via the mobile app or web platform. Privacy Mode will remain disabled until you re-enable the feature.

Superb speed to install on a tight timeline, system looks very good just on a 2 week road trip 1 day after collecting our vehicle, in the nicest way I hope we don’t hear from you😊
