I phoned Scrap Car Kings at 19:00 and they arranged to collect and pay the next day at 09:30.
A receipt for collection of the vehicle was issued on the day of collection and they confirmed that they would contact the DVLA with a certificate of destruction as well as do all the necessary paperwork.
Would highly recommend these guys!

Made everything very easy when looking to arrange for my car to be taken for scrap. Very good communications and kept me up to date through the process.

Very friendly people. Booked the day before - they came the next morning. Once the car was quickly evaluated by their employee & mounted onto the truck the money was paid into my account within a few minutes.
